Personality notes:Well mannered, Sari'yas is also an out-going and open-minded one. She enjoys to kindly tease people she likes.
She views herself as a junction between her Black Sun ancestors and the long settled drows, first because she is herself a Raveran-born Aqrab, but also thanks to the few years she spent at Orthorbbae and to the wide variety of people she worked for.
Also, although she looks and acts like a “civilized” lady, there are few things she likes more than a friendly wrestling and a big beer (taking care of her son still being her favourite activity).

Bone-made spear.
About 30 adas, placed into different pockets inside her dress.
Bone and chitin self-made armor, but wears it only when on patrol/escort duty.

Background:Family; her mother, Rei'sari, had 9 children. Sari'yas has 4 elder brothers, 2 elder sisters, and one youngster of each gender. The house also consist of Rei'sari's consorts (Far'harzian and Seng'ya Aqrab'akkar), fathers of almost all her children.
Rei'sari breeds pygmy goats in her backyard, providing small but regular amount of milk, wool and meat (pygmy goats are feed mostly with garbage and algae, but Rei'sari's sons and mates go to the surface on regular basis to collect alfalfa). The family lives in a house on the fringe of Aqrab compound.
[1-25 years old]
For her 15 first years, Sari'yas was mostly raised by her mother's consorts and her older sisters. It was a quiet and happy time during which she was taught writing and reading, clan history and traditions, some basic hand-to-hand, and how to treat meat and skins.
Turning 16, Sari'yas was sent to serve and learn in the clan main family during 10 years. There she got trained at spear-fighting, with her bone affinity, and was taught how to ride.
[26-47 years old]
After her years of service in the main house, Sari'yas was sent to Orthorbbae with two other girls from the Aqrab'akkar clan, firstly to learn manners fitting with long-settled drows culture.
Sari'yas enjoyed it, especially her calligrahy and martial classes. This lasted few years, but one of the Aqrab girl, being pestered, eventually went mad and almost killed one of her bully.
As a result, the Aqrab was expelled, and as a show of protest and solidarity, Sari'yas and the third girl decided to leave school too.
One year after her return to Raveran, Sari'yas, now 32 years old, was appointed as care-taker of her baby-nephew, Narala, until he would reach 15 years old. Sari'yas took her role very seriously and loved the boy, never considering him a chore. Narala proved to be often daydreaming, but very clever, curious and fond of languages and history. Though some picked him out as a “weak bookworm”, Sari'yas always encouraged him, considering the clan would need scholars and historians.
In the meantime, she kept crafting jewellery out of bones, training with her spear, and enjoyed her family life.
[47-59 years old]
Narala turning 15 (and Sari'yas 47), she was dismissed as her care-taker. From then, Sari'yas joined an Aqrab squad of caravans escort, thus often going to the surface or other cities, and having opportunities to ride. Some fights occurred during the escorts, but the travels where usually quiets, and she could try herself at trading when meeting goblins, exchanging shards of gold with grains or dried fruits.
When the first Demonic Invasion occurred, Sari'yas was in Chel, escorting a clan merchant and her freight of perfumes. At the return to Raveran, the squad was astounded to find a devastated Raveran. Yet Sari'yas considered herself very lucky to have lost “only” one of her brothers (who got tainted, and thus “purged” by the Kyorls), all other members of her family safe and sound and her home undamaged.
[59 years old- today]
Aged 59, Sari'yas had a first child, with a grenadier from the clan. Unfortunately, her son was a still-born.
For almost 3 years, she locked herself, crafting jewellery and armour pieces with her bone affinity until exhaustion, so she would not have time to think of her dead boy.
It was her “uncle” Far'harzian who finally forced her out, taking her along to alfalfa collecting trip.
This was a tough travel for Sari'yas, but also a coming-back to life. She eventually stop denying her son's death and could mourn it properly, to the whole family's relief.
She took back her work as a caravan escort, and in 1109 (67y.o) she met with a Sarghress guy in Chel, a one-night lover, but this led Sari'yas to have her second child, Yarei, a very healthy boy she loves to cuddle. Yarei has black short tousled hair, and a strange habit to chew plushies to “death”, which amuse Sari'yas much.
During the Second Demonic Invasion, she was at the main house, helping fixing some armours, so she naturally joined the defenders there.
Then, during the riots, Sari'yas served as an “ambulance”, riding with haste to evacuate wounded to the medics and transmitting needs from the barricade holders, not minding who was from which clan.
She proved again herself a good element concerning the Aqrab's interactions with other clans, and thus was moved to patrol squad and occasional emissary for minor matters.
