Okay, so... I totally loved 'Khala's' design with the striped pigtails. So, Perky Goth Lolita Beldrobbaen girl.

I know these are all terribly loose, but I clean up when I ink.

Sketchiness is not a bad thing, ya know. I like the designs, can't say which one I like more.

Looseness is a good thing, its what generally separates the artist from the technician.

Well... Yes and no. You can do loose if you've got the proper technical structure in place. I'm not quite there yet.

I just mentioned it because usually he first concrit I get is to neaten it up. ^.^

Hopping on the aged-up characters bandwagon with Overseer!Chrys and Shinae.



I went back and forth on Chrys's outfit so many times... the moons on the pleats aren't final, whatever I end up putting there I'll do when I color.

Hmm, IF her skirt is like plated instead of pleated, I'd definitely leave the moons-and armor like that would be 20 kinds of rad too.

Yeah Exactly! I dunno if she'd wear her circlet as an overseer though, Vidhi didnt have hers. Hard to think of Chrys without her crown however, because I dont know about you but those last couple of pages where she didnt have it were creeping me out- maybe it should just be chalked off to preference?

*nods* I thought about that when I was drawing, and while some stuff appears to be be 'attributes' of the Overseer rank, based on what Mikilu and Vhidi'yani have in common -- eyes-of-Sharess on the chest, long dress, veil, wide sleeves -- but I'm not sure whether Vidhi's lack of circlet is because her position as an Overseer subsumes her position as a member of the Imperial family or just her own choice.

But I really wanted to do Shinae's hair ornament redone with an eye, and I felt like it would be 'important' for a twin not to be seen as outranking her trueborn sister.

Have another: accomplished heiress Kiel, meant to look like she could get some respect from the 'real' Vals.



I randomly gave her a bunch of other masks as trophies, as a walking reminder to the other Nether Summoners why they shouldn't fuck with her.

At first I wanted her to be a bit chestier since she still looks very young like that, but then I remembered she'd only be about 16 or so Drow wise post time skip -so looking damn good so far. Are you going to post these back up when youve inked/colored um or are you gonna leave us drooling on the sketches?
