Most webcomics have discussion threads under every page, where readers can discuss the artwork, ask questions or just insult the comic, the author and each other. DT have this forum, and there is link to DT forum at the top of the main page, but how many casual readers who just found DT would click there?
My idea is simple: put under every page link to DT forum discussion of this page, like http://forums.drowtales.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19444
Benefits: newbees who do not understand what is going on, but want to learn, could jump directly at the page discussion.
Drawbacks: more clueless newbees would complain they do not understand what it is all about, and would ask the same newbee questions again and again, but the necessity to register in the forum before commenting would deter hit and run trolls.
Feel free to explain to me why it is the dumbest idea ever!
