Command and Conquer: Drowtales

Command and Conquer: Drowtales

In Red Alert, Einstein goes back in time to kill Hitler. Despite this, a second World War happens and assorted massacres occur within it.

In Drowtales, Kar'liir somehow invents a time machine that takes him to shortly after the Nidra'chaal war. He sees Snadhya walking out of Orthabbe and, seeing his chance, greets her, gesturing for a handshake. She gives him one, falling for his trap. No more Snadhya.

Going from this comic AND Red Alert, the fae would still be warring. Describe how things would go in this timeline.

Well, for one the sharen sarghess war would probaly happen anyway. But presumeably mandatory tainting wouldn't have happened, to students at least.

Accidental tainting would if nether summoning was still common.

Obsidian Agent wrote:For those unfamiliar with C&C, in the alternate World War II created by Einstein going back to 1924 and erasing Hitler, the aggressor was Joseph Stalin, who, with Nazi Germany no longer existing to oppose him, was able to divert much more of his resources into invading and conquering Europe. Now, it's up to the Allies (America, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, Greece, and Turkey) to stop him.

And the reason Einstein didn't go back and erase Stalin as well? Fear that someone even worse could come to power in his place - the WWII in this timeline was already worse than the original one, with Stalin being even nastier than he was IRL. Time travel has a way of biting you in the ass in the Red Alert universe. At least, when you're using it to erase someone, and not, say, using it to fight a psychic madman hell-bent on world domination (*cough Yuri's Revenge cough*).

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. How the comic can go even worse.

But the Nidra'chaal would still be around (especially Kalki). Sarv and Zala would still be tainted. And so on.

Let's see what happens with the demon God plot. After its conclusion, we can be more certain of which direction things will go without Snad.

Obsidian Agent wrote:No. Not yet, anyway. Someone will go back in time to just after the Nidraa'chal Coup, and kill Snads before she can sink the underworld further into chaos. Unfortunately, all this does is create even more ruthless tyrants in Sene'kha and the Kyorl Judicators. Thus, it's up to a desperate Sarghress-Sharen Alliance to end the madness the Vloz and Kyorls have brought about.

Let's go with the above.

If Die'tra is Tanya Adams, wouldn't that make Tur'geis the DT version of Havoc or Colonel Burton?

Yeah, but I had to find an equivalent "hero unit" since Tur'geis and Die'tra always work as a "husband/wife" team together.

I'd be up for helping fund the second picture idea, though Luna and I already did something close to that last Christmas...
