Naga babies: Eggs or live birth?

Do Naga shed their skin? Well, the part that's a snake, anyway.

Monotremes = "Lay eggs, but produce milk to feed the hatchlings"

But I don't know if that has been changed lately...

Ah, sorry. I didn't know what that meant. >.>

But I did come up with something...

Can Naga be tainted?

(I wasn't there for the livestream, there's a lot I don't know.)

All fae can be tainted and/or possessed, nagas included.
Mana plants can't be tainted or possessed, but sucked dry and killed.
Non-fae animals that have been artificially given an aura can't be possessed or tainted, but the ethereal demon would eat the artifial aura leaving it a normal auraless animal.

I figured as much, but I thought it would be best to ask rather than assume.

Sooo...how does kissing work? Especially with the venomous variety...? Because a dead lover would be all kinds of awkward...

Eh. I just figured it worked Poison Ivy style. Even numbered kisses on each person cure the odd-numbered ones on the same person.

It's more like the Naga doesn't intentionally extend its fangs when it kisses people. It also depends on what kind of naga it is--for example my sea snake naga has very small fangs compared to Skerech

My Naga, (Who is still unnamed. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING!) is loosely based on a cobra, and her fangs are kind of long-ish. She also has to wear either loose-fitting collars or scarves because of that hood on the back of her neck. While it's not open all the time, she doesn't have much voluntary control over it. If she's angry or stressed, FWIP! Wide open.

It's also interesting to think about how much they share with actual snakes. I wonder if younger Naga have less control over how much venom they inject? That's why juvenile venomous snakes are so much more dangerous than older ones. Older snakes have more control, often injecting little to no venom to deter attackers. But juveniles inject ALL of it in one bite.

Yes, as far as personality goes, I always imagined nagas imitating their real-world breeds

ex: yellow-bellied sea snakes are shy
black mambas & blue coral snakes are easily angered
corn snakes are docile

and kids need to be taught control :> they would be given poison collection cups and stuffed animals

Ooh, has anyone made a rattlesnake Naga yet?

And now all I can imagine is an Orthorbbae for Naga. Drow learn mana arts. Naga learn venom control.

I wonder if Naga venom has any value to Drow assassins? Like Naga could make a living that way.

Question: Do nagas born in the Underworld have a drow-like skin tone? All the pictures of natural nagas I have seen recently show them with dokkalfar-like skin tones.
