Music You Associate With Drowtales

I like the Teutonic Knights, but they were pretty much dicks to Novogorad(Russia), Poland, and Lithuania. No reason for the peole of those countries to have any regard for them, even excluding the whole Nazi thing as a seperate issue.

It also makes me half expecting some big bad endgame boss to pop out of nowhere and initiate the final boss battle.... :o

Blind Guardian is pretty good...

Now, recently I heard of a band that fits DT pretty well in my opinion. They're a band by the name of Bal-Sagoth. Their music is a bit cheesy for my tastes, but I'll be damned if these here songs don't remind me of the prologue or the Sharen in general.

And now for something completely different: I think this song fits the Kyorls pretty well.

When I listen to this I get the picture of some unlucky drow fighting some poor demon possessed baddie. :B

I think I've played Tales of games and SSBB too many times.... :B

The recent Ariel - Rik - Discordia fight made me think of this. My apologies in advance for my sick sense of humor.

On a more serious note I could see doing a DT AMV to this.

For the Vel'Vloz'ress: Beruriers Noirs - Vive le feu or KMFDM - Anarchy
For the Vel'Sharen: Voltaire - When You're Evil
For the Val'Sarghress: KMFDM - WWIII (World War 3)

Oh and for Liriel: They Might be Giants - The Beer Song :D

More to come! ...eventually

"Angel of Darkness" (second song) Sene/Kiel/Naal, Rik/Ariel/Discordia, etc.

Somebody else will have to do this for me because right now I have to correct a doctoral theseis. It's over 100 pages long. *zombie*

How about in reverse..

If you had to pick one villain.. who would you associate the argueably most famous villain song of all time to?

One Winged Angel

.. this url was direct copied from google because my work does not allow you tube so I don't know if its a good sample of the song or not.

Whenever I hear "Fleeting Instant" on Delerium's "Nuages Du Monde", I think about Mel for some reason. Maybe that line, "I go to sleep/ Take off my face/ Eyes open to the darkness/ Identify...." I can see her lying there, crying in the dark, leaning against a comforting Zhor, staring at the ceiling...

Sometimes listening to Apocalyptica's "Path" I think about Drowtales too. Dunno why.

When I think of Drowtales the following tunes seem to relate:

From Iron Maiden
- Brave New World
- Wickerman
- Be Quick or be Dead
- Pachendale (reminds me of the Du'tanvir for some reason)
- Childhood's End

From Queensryche
- Eyes of a Stranger
- The Lady Wore Black
- Silent Lucidity (Mel and Ariel come to mind with this one)
- Promised Land (Sephyle, Faen)

From Disturbed
- Ten Thousand Fist (Val'Sarghress)
- Pain Redefined
- Criminal
- Sons of Plunder

Others
- My Curse, Killswitch Engage
- Holiday, Birthday Massacre
- Speak, Godsmack
- Dare, Stan Bush (Ariel)
- I'm not Alright, Sanctus Real (Faen)
- More Than A Memory, Hoobstank (Faen and Ariel)
- -----------------

And that's that for now.
