((I though it was Arey's turn but it might be mine.))

Lalr'gan and Kyolr'gan held up their glasses as well and drowned most of the mead, Kyolr'gan started coughing at the burn. "Oh My. That's pretty potent." Kyolr'gan sorta looked at Tur'geis empty the dregs on her homes floor. She let it go, something said it was some sort of weird tradition with him. "Ahh, Vela. She wasn't too talkative but she liked her treasure." Kyolr'gan wondered if she was the lucky one. Emach seemed addicted to the acquisition of relics and wealth but couldn't stop and enjoy the fruits of his labor. His motivations were vengeance, but it seemed he would never carry it out and all he had found was his place in the Underworld.

Lalr'gan started helping Turgies undo his armor. "You are free to spend the night as well. We still have extra rooms to rest in." She assumed he was staying to at least take a bath. "Don't worry about wondering around the house in just an armor underlay, we do it all the time." He eyes flicked to Bery and her face hardened a bit.

"Seems the adults are distracted with that nasty rotten stuff." Shilr'gan said while looking at Grey. Milr'gan looked at Shilr'gan. "Brother...Brother...look down." Milr'gan said noticing that Shilr'gan had a bulge under his underlay. Shilr'gan confused and head toward the bathroom. He was stopped by Salr'gan who had been watching the goings on. "Stop...we need to talk. You too Mil." Shilr'gan was embarrassed and a bit confused at what was going on with his body. Milr'gan followed was Salr'gan behind them ready to block any inquiry of why the twins had suddenly vanished.

"Here's to Kyolr'gan's fallen comrade, Kyolr'gan's quick recovery, and to our health and livelihood. May our swords be swift and sharp, and may the gods grant us either a warrior's death or glorious victory." Tur'geis drank most of the alcohol, emptying the rest on the stone floor. Bery couldn't help but think that this wasn't the sort of thing the Lr'gan were likely to appreciate, but she decided to stay quiet. It was up to them to deal with, not her.

"Here. Have a drink," Tur'geis passed a cup to her. "You might as well get settled in while they prepare dinner,"

"I think I'll take up that offer of a bath later. You really begin to appreciate those advanced golems they put into your Raider armor real quick."

Bery giggled as Lalr'gan started helping him undo his armor. It was better to let her do it, she herself had no knowledge of how true armors worked, having only ever dealt with replicas. "Yes, it was quite an infamous problem back at my former home... they often offered free bath under the pretense of supporting Shargress troops, but really it was all just to make sure they wouldn't have to tolerate the smell while they took care of them."

"You are free to spend the night as well. We still have extra rooms to rest in. Don't worry about wondering around the house in just an armor underlay, we do it all the time." He eyes flicked to Bery and her face hardened a bit. Bery blushed. Had she said something wrong?

"Well then, I guess I'll get my stuff to on the room!" She turned toward Marzi, who seemed to be sleeping in a chair. She shrugged. He was probably faking it, but it didn't matter. She would get them there on her own. She took the packet, lifting it and awkwardly trying to walk without it obstructing her vision. She REALLY was too small...

Tsuris'lok turned to Beryla'zuli, taking her belongings out of her hands and moving up the stairs. "I'll carry it...." he said. Lok was stronger in body then most would suspect from his physical health and small stature, easily carrying the bags up the steps.

Grey wasn't really sure what she should be doing, the twins had gone off with their brother for some reason, so she stood by, waiting for someone to talk to her. She felt uncomfortable around so many people. Lok seemed to be entering one of his, "lower states of mind" when he was quiet and a sort of brooding. She wondered if it had anything to do with the incident at the bar, or the fact that Kyolr'gan was injured....

"Hm?" Tur'geis was taken off guard by Lalr'gan moving to help divest him of his armor. The help was appreciated though...armor was always trickier to get off by yourself. "An attractive female helping me out of my armor is quite welcome. Besides, it's not like I'll be wandering around the halls naked. Oh, and dig up some soap and another bottle of that mead. And not in that order," spoke Tur'geis with a sly grin as he looked back at Lalr'gan. Tur'geis helped her get off his armor; it was clear that she was experienced in handling such a thing. Seeing that his armor was in good hands, Tur'geis started to head to the baths.

Tur'geis chuckled dryly as Bery explained her experiences with the downsides of armor. "I can't blame them. Hygiene isn't something to be ignored when in close contact with others, after all," he joked.

As she struggled to carry her belonging, Lok appeared next to her, taking her stuff with ease. "I'll carry it...."

"Thanks, Brother!"

Tur'geis walked next to her on his way to the bathroom, chuckling as he restarted their chats. "I can't blame them. Hygiene isn't something to be ignored when in close contact with others, after all," he joked.

"Heh, yeah..." She giggled. "Beside I think the soldiers appreciated it. Apparently the Shargress communal shower isn't up to everyone's taste." She stuck out her tongue cheekilly. She wouldn't mind seeing sexy soldiers in their birthday suits, but then again naughties were more than likely forbidden there. "Speaking of getting clean, would you mind if I joined you in the bath? I think a bath would do me good as well, at least to help me relax... We could talk a bit more, and I could wash your back, if you'd like."

Lok carried his sister's belongings into one of the rooms, setting them down next to the unmade bed. He looked down at them, tilting his head. "Why carry things in bags... never made sense to me...." he headed back out of the room turning down the hall. "Why in the world would someone carry their belongings around in another belonging?" he shrugged, simply wondering around the Lr'gan's house. He stopped in front of a door, turning his head to look at it. He could hear noises inside.... "Blind woman finding love in a nest of <Black Devils>, and an Exile teaching younglings... why do I already know all this.... why does this keep happening...." Lok frowned, continuing down the hallway. He wasn't sure what he should do now.... he had taken the sister he just found out he had, to the home of some broken woman with a house full of people who had the empathic presence of some sort of monster.... "The Lr'gans are not average drow are they? No they're not.... What do I need to do? Why do I need to do anything? Because I know there is a problem.... So just tell tell Lalr'gan what the problem is. Cause she may get it wrong.... Point, I can't trust anyone else to get it right...." he paused in his stride, "What do I WANT to do?"

“Hey, it's not all bad. Especially if there are cute gals sharing the shower with me,” replied Tur'geis with a shrug. He shot a glance back to Lalr'gan before returning to the business of following Tsuris'lok and Bery'lazuli up the stairs and towards the guest quarters.

No sooner had Tur'geis mentioned sharing a shower when Bery'lazuli asked if she could take a bath with him. “Go ahead. Scrub my back and I'll scrub yours,” he replied. Tur'geis absentmindedly thought about what the baths at the Lr'gan house must be like. Most likely cavernous, given the extensive size of their family. Perhaps Lalr'gan would be more forthcoming about the facilities.

Bery sighed happilly as she fell against Tur'geis' bare chest. A beautiful man, the peace of the country side, and the trip of a lifetime to the lands above... what more could a woman ask for? There were still a few days left before they would reach the lands above, but she WOULD get to see it. True, it was a little dangerous at her age, mana deprievation tended to appear easily in people like her, who had never travelled outside of a mana pool, but that was why Lok had arranged for them to be accompanied by a healer, wasn't it?

Zan'nah... a long time companion and 'sister' to Lok. She looked forward to getting to know her more. One thing for certain, she was definitely grateful she had accepted to accompagny them on the surface. One less stress meant it would be easier for her to enjoy her trip, and a certain someone...

"They've been at it all night...." Zan'nah muttered as she turned over in her bed roll. Her brother had asked her to look out for his 'sister' Beryla'zuli. It was surprising to learn that Lok had blood relatives, let alone ones that were old enough to worry about mana deprivation on surface trips.

It was even more surprising however, to learn that her new squad mate Tur'geis seemed to have already established a relationship with her. They'd only been on a single mission together to a desert ruin, but she'd began to like the Am'saag's wit, and the way he made snarky comments about most things was amusing.

She was not amused however, with the fact that she'd been kept up all night. She threw the blanket off from her bed roll and left her tent, storming over to the one that Beryla'zuli and Tur'geis were sharing and throwing the tent flap back.

"OI! YOU'VE BEEN AT IT ALL NIGHT! KNOCK IT OFF!" she yelled at the two as it seemed they were about to go at it again.

Tur'geis reached up to rub Beryl'azuli's back as she fell against his broad chest, smiling down at her as he did so. It was sensuously warm under the covers, especially, with Beryl'azuli running her hands down his body and her leg down the side of his own. He could hardly believe that he was sharing a bed roll with the former prostitute so fast, at least not without paying her. She appeared to have fallen madly for him...and Tur'geis had to admit that he was feeling much the same way. At the very least Beryl'azuli would be like Ina'ri, a close lover who would be eager to share her bed whenever Tur'geis was about.

Speaking of which, it seemed as if Zan'nah had had some trouble sleeping last night. Tur'geis and Beryl'azuli had been rather enthusiastic last night. A devilish thought crossed Tur'geis' mind. Zan'nah was quite the pretty lady. "Don't be so upset, Zan'nah. You know you're welcome to join us!" he replied with a laugh. Tur'geis waited cautiously to see if Zan'nah would enter the tent, storm off, or throw something through the tent's entrance at them.

Zan'nah glared at Tur'geis, "Fuck you! I didn't get ANY sleep last night, and I'm betting you two didn't either, but at least you got to have fun, I'm not going to indulge your question with a response," she turned to Bery, 'And YOU settle down or I'll make his balls shrivel up so you'll never get any use from them!" she said before throwing the tent closed and storming back to her tent to try and get some shut eye before they broke camp.

Bery chased thoughts from her mind as she tightened her embrace around the male Am'sang.

"OI! YOU'VE BEEN AT IT ALL NIGHT! KNOCK IT OFF!" She squeeled in surprise as a very angry Drowess stormed into their tent. Tur'geis however barely raised an eyebrow before replying to the girl in a laugh.

"Don't be so upset, Zan'nah. You know you're welcome to join us!" She snickered a little. Such a reply really wasn't unexpected, in the short time they had known each other the man had proved he loved a good lay as much as a good brawl.

"Oh dear." She turned toward Tur'geis. "I didn't think we were THAT noisy. Do you think I should go apologize? Wouldn't want her to make good on her threats."

Tur'geis could barely contain his laughter as Zan'nah berated him and Bery. He held himself together until after Zan'nah had left, and kept it to a chuckle. Zan'nah wouldn't do anything, but Bery'lazuli seemed frightened enough at the possibility. "Go ahead if you want to. Just wait until she's gotten some sleep. Play your cards right and she might be interested in a little horizontal mambo, if you get my drift!" Tur'geis laughed as he shifted and sat up in his bedroll, tossing his hair from his eyes.

"Go ahead if you want to. Just wait until she's gotten some sleep. Play your cards right and she might be interested in a little horizontal mambo, if you get my drift!"

"Hmm, I think I'll leave that opportunity to you. I'm personally satisfied with our current arrangement." She winked playfully before wrapping a blanket around her shoulder. "I will take a little breather outside, you try to rest in the mean time, okay? You deserve it."

She kissed him before walking out of their tent, walking barefeet in the small cavern they had set camp in. Winds swept in, a sure sign that they would reach the surface soon. She wondered how she would react upon seeing it. Tur'geis had spent a part of their trip mocking the reactions many new Raiders had upon seeing the surface for the first time, telling in great details how many of them fell over, fainted, or even literally shit their pants.

She wanted to see the surface, but it stressed her to think that she would likely have the same reaction as "these babies who call themselves raiders". Both Tur'geis and Zan'nah knew she wasn't a warrior, and they seemed to have more or less accepted it. But she didn't want them to see her as a spoiled Chellian, or worse, a weakling. Zan'nah didn't seem to respect her much, but Tur... she didn't want to lose his respect... Maybe if she made herself useful, they'd forgive her. She walked toward their pack, setting up the group's heat stone on the ground. While they slept, she'd make them breakfast. It certainly couldn't hurt...

Zan'nah woke up a few hours later, feeling groggy and not very well rested. She sighed, realizing it would be another long day of travel. However the smell of breakfast being cooked raised her spirits a bit. She sat up and put on her glasses, before getting out of her bed roll and exiting her tent.

"Beryla'zuli?" she asked, surprised to see the woman fixing their breakfast. She seemed more like the soft city type, not the kind to try their hand at something like actually making food. "I... didn't expect to see you... up." She sat down next to the her at the heat stone, adjusting her spider silk under-armor as she did so. "I'm... sorry about last night by the way." she said, scratching the back of her head, blushing a little bit. "I don't normally act like that," she looked a bit embarrassed and it didn't take an empath to realize she was a bit ashamed of herself.
