Lok simply shrugged, "I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect of seeing her again myself, I'll do like Tur'geis says and wait out here..." he said. He couldn't help but grin at Marzipan's attempt to flirt with Reka. She wasn't exactly familiar with the concept, she was basically a golem.

Grey wasn't exactly sure what Reka wanted her to do with the locket, she looked a it then looked back at Reka, a questioning look on her face.

Tur'geis's attention turned to Marzipan, disapproval apparent in his face. "You ever faced down a giant Kiri'su dripping with acid that can melt through steel in a matter of seconds like she has, kid? Yeah, that's what I thought," Tur'geis turned to Bery. "Oh, I'm fully aware that she doesn't trust Lok as far as she can throw him. Given Lok's build that's mighty generous, mind you. Hell, Lok can stay outside with Reka and I while you go in and speak with her,"

Marzy, however, refused to let the first matter slide. "I admit I haven't. Have you? That would explain your face." He smirked. "Beside, why do you get all defensive of the lady all of sudden? Can't a man appreciate such frail beauty? Unless, of course, you want to keep her for yourself..." His smile widened, obviously finding pleasure in toying with the gigantic Shargress.

Lok ignored them, turning to Bery. "I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect of seeing her again myself, I'll do like Tur'geis says and wait out here..."

"Fine, alright..." She shook her head. "I really wanted some rest, but I guess getting an headache would work as well."

Meanwhile, Reka looked at Grey, suddenly rummaging in her belonging before giving her a locket. Grey took the locket, looking at Reka with an inquisitive look. Reka openned her mouth.

"PRIVATE REKA!" A stern Nal walked to her. "Your officer is looking for you, you are late for your delivery!"

She ran off, mouthing a quick "Sorry, I'll tell you later".

Tur'geis gave a dry chuckle at Marzy's retort. He honestly had expected the kid to back down then and there. Not bad for a sawed-off runt like you...and I don't really have any designs on Reka. Just keep in mind that she's tougher than she looks, kid. I'd be careful with my hands if I were you," replied Tur'geis with a smirk.

Bery didn't seem too enthused about the prospect of meeting with Minerva at this point. It was getting rather late, but where could she go in the Nal fortress? Regardless, there had to be an inn open for business in Nal'sarkoth territory for customers and hirelings from abroad.

"If you don't feel like getting in a shouting match with Minerva, and who does, there has to be an inn around here," said Tur'geis to Bery before looking about to see any signs of lodging for foreign visitors. "Anyone got any close friends who wouldn't mind a complete stranger dropping by for the night?" If any of the Nal'sarkoth were honorable they'd give a stranger hospitality for a night. Tur'geis looked back at Bery, his ice blue eyes locking with her own. "It'd be a shame to have you sleeping out on the street so soon after leaving your old home," he commented, a slight grin spreading across his face. "Slow me down and I'll carry you to the nearest bed, so help me!" Anyone who dared disrupt Tur'geis' immutable laws of hospitality would soon regret it.

Lok sighed, "We could always go to the Lr'gans.... Kyolr'gan made it abundantly clear that I was welcome there...... she's... aggressively hospitable." He said, Grey smiled, remembering how Kyolr'gan acted when she found out Lok wasn't alone. "Lr'gan's are family, they adopt me." she said.

Marzy smirked. "Don't you worry, my hands are MUCH better behaved than my mouth is."

"If you don't feel like getting in a shouting match with Minerva, and who does, there has to be an inn around here," He turned around to look at their companion. "Anyone got any close friends who wouldn't mind a complete stranger dropping by for the night? "Oh, most certainly!" She giggled as she dashed behind Tur'geis, nimbly climbing on the male's back. "There! That way you won't have to lift me!"

Lok sighed. Bery wasn't sure if it was at her, or something else. "We could always go to the Lr'gans.... Kyolr'gan made it abundantly clear that I was welcome there...... she's... aggressively hospitable."

Grey smiled upon hearing Lok's suggestion. "Lr'gan's are family, they adopt me."

"Ohh, really? If it is so, I would really love to meet them! TAIOH! My wolf! To the Lr'gan!"

One of the Lr'gans was outside the third tower. It was hard to tell which one it was, they all had long hair more or less the same fair face, even the males. They were all giant Lath like their mother, with not much height difference between the males and the females. It became clear it was a male the closer they got, he was carrying three spears and dressed in a simple silk pants and shirt. He approached with a broad smile revealing the fangs inherent of a low generation drow, he smelled oddly of steel, leather and blood. "Sup bro! Evening Grey, pretty as always." He held up the three spears. "Darts night at the Shatter Tooth." He looked at the group. "Who's your buddies?"

Lok smiled, "Hey Tolr'gan, this is my squad mate Tur'geis, and my sister Bery'azuli, and Marzipan," he said, "Bery and Marzipan need a place to stay... so.... " he smiled sheepishly, "I think you see where I'm going with this," he said. Grey smiled at Tolr'gan's comment, but blushed a bit.

"That settles it. To the Lr'gan house it is then," grunted Tur'geis. He scarcely had time to take another step before Bery'lazuli leapt upon his back, intending to use him as a means of transportation. "Woah...it's bad enough when my cousin does this! Fortunately you're lighter than she is," he said. "The stables are over that way you know..." grumbled Tur'geis as he gently tried to shrug Bery'lazuli about.

Regardless, Tur'geis carried Beryl'azuli to the Lr'gan's tower. Jalr'gan was standing out in the front...at least, that's who Tur'geis first thought he was. Just how many children did Kyolr'gan have in total, anyways? She didn't strike the Am'saag as being that old.

"Yeah...Lok's friend here needs a place to stay for the night. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I don't carry people on my back for long periods of time. No offense," said Tur'geis, squatting down to let Bery'azuli climb off of him.

"Woah...it's bad enough when my cousin does this! Fortunately you're lighter than she is, The stables are over that way you know..."

Bery grinned as she held on tighter onto the male. "Your fault for offering to carry me! Now LET'S GET GOING!"

Bery hummed as they walked east of the fortress, into the sector reserved for the commoner affiliated and employed by the clan. A male welcomed the group, obviously aquainted with both Lok and Grey. While Lok and Grey both responded to him with a smile, Bery couldn't help but feel.. uneasy with his presence. He felt like many of the patrons she encountered at her previous home those who brought the most money in, but whom she had always hated working for. She exchange a glance with Marzy. He gave her a small nod before turning to face the male. He would handle him.

"Hey Tolr'gan, this is my squad mate Tur'geis, and my sister Bery'azuli, and Marzipan," he said, "Bery and Marzipan need a place to stay... so.... I think you see where I'm going with this,"

"Yeah...Lok's friend here needs a place to stay for the night. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I don't carry people on my back for long periods of time. No offense," Tur'geis crouched down to allow Bery to disembark. She pouted a bit as she got down. It was kinda fun to be higher than everyone else for once..

"Thank you for the ride, Sir Tur'geis." She kissed his cheek as she touched the ground.

"My Greeting to you Lord Torl'gan, I am Ma'zerick, Friend and Servant of Lady Beryla'zuli. My Lady and I would be most grateful if you could fetch your matriarch for us, so as to give our wishes and request for her hospitality for the night."

The way Marzipan spoke was one that would surprise all who were even remotely acquainted with him: Posed, proper, distinguished. The way he held himself was much the same. He hoped the rest of the group would not comment on it until the boy had left; Bery seemed to be made uneasy by him. The sooner he left, the better.

"A sister?" He looked directly at Beryl'azuli, his hair stood on end for some reason. Weird. Beryl'azuli and Marzipan seemed to have and unspoken conversation. Lovers? The highland Raider let Beryl'azuli down and she pecked him on the cheek. This seems like a complicated relationship.

"My Greeting to you Lord Torl'gan, I am Ma'zerick, Friend and Servant of Lady Beryla'zuli. My Lady and I would be most grateful if you could fetch your matriarch for us, so as to give our wishes and request for her hospitality for the night."

Tolr'gan was caught off guard by the official sounded speech. What the fuck? He shot Lok and Grey a questioning look. This guy for real? Whatever, I'll play along. A toothy smile once more crossed Tolr'gan face, it was very predator like. "The Matriarch is resting from wounds suffered on the battlefield at Nurqua'Sharen. The Heiress of House Lr'gan, Lalr'gan will receive you. Please wait here." Tolr'gan wolfish smile remained. Heh, time to cause so trouble for Lar.

Tolr'gan left the group and a few minutes later a Lr'gan in a green silk dress armed with a broadsword and a foci gauntlet. Tolr'gan stayed by the apartment towers entrance to watch. She seemed very aggressive looking as she approached. Lalr'gan looked just like Tolr'gan, she was only a slight bit taller, had ample bussom and stern face framed by glasses and a long braid of white un-dyed hair and fierce looking purple eyes. The same scent and feelings as Tolr'gan radiated off her as tolr'gan but focused into a stern shield. She had a slight smile when she saw Tur'geis that faded as she came to speaking range. "I am Lalr'gan, first daughter of Kyolr'gan, Heiress of House Lr'gan. The sister of Lok has our hospitality and so do you." Lalr'gan locked eyes on Beryl'azuli. "We brook no servants or slaves in House Lr'gan, so you're lady will have to attend to herself while in our home." Strange rules for Lath House, Almost like Orthorbbae.

Lok was a bit annoyed that Bery was kind of flirting with his former teammate but he didn't mind too much.

"My Greeting to you Lord Torl'gan, I am Ma'zerick, Friend and Servant of Lady Beryla'zuli. My Lady and I would be most grateful if you could fetch your matriarch for us, so as to give our wishes and request for her hospitality for the night."

Lok was surprised at Marzipan's introduction, and was getting the feeling Bery was uncomfortable around Tolr'gan. Tolr'gan looked at him and Grey with a questioning look. He just shrugged.

"The Matriarch is resting from wounds suffered on the battlefield at Nurqua'Sharen. The Heiress of House Lr'gan, Lalr'gan will receive you. Please wait here."

Lok was glad to hear that his vision of Kyolr'gan being killed in Nurqua'sharen not coming to pass, he made a point to check in on her. A few minutes went by and Lalr'gan showed up. "I am Lalr'gan, first daughter of Kyolr'gan, Heiress of House Lr'gan. The sister of Lok has our hospitality and so do you." Lalr'gan locked eyes on Beryl'azuli. "We brook no servants or slaves in House Lr'gan, so you're lady will have to attend to herself while in our home." Lok didn't feel he had to mention that Marzi wasn't so much Bery's servant, he was more of a personal mischief maker. Lok bowed his thanks to Lalr'gan, "Thank you for allowing my family to stay Lal'rgan," he said. Grey also bowed her thanks.

"Just don't think that this is going to be a regular event, okay?" muttered Tur'geis as he put Bery down. What happened next was rather unexpected to the Am'saag; Bery placed a kiss on Tur'geis' cheek after she hopped off his back. "I'll accept that as payment!" said Tur'geis with a low chuckle.

Tolr'gan soon disappeared, only to be replaced by Lalr'gan. Tur'geis found her bearing rather distinctive; one of the things apart from her personality that distinguished her from her sisters. "We've met..." spoke Tur'geis to Lalr'gan, his gaze quickly drifting over her before meeting her own. He could have sworn that she smiled at him just now. "I suppose Marzy will have to stay outside with the haledri for the night? I've always found that makes a good threat for misbehaving guests, but that's just me," continued Tur'geis, taking a step in Lalr'gan's direction.

"A sister?" The young male looked at them, surprised. The strange feeling she felt disappeared for a moment, only to come right back when he turned to reply to Marzy.

"The Matriarch is resting from wounds suffered on the battlefield at Nurqua'Sharen. The Heiress of House Lr'gan, Lalr'gan will receive you. Please wait here."

After a few minutes, the boy came down with a stern looking woman... whose' empathic presence was even creepier than the male. Is that really Grey's adoptive family!? Oh Godesses, I hope they're not all so creepy...

"I am Lalr'gan, first daughter of Kyolr'gan, Heiress of House Lr'gan. The sister of Lok has our hospitality and so do you." The female's eyes turned to Bery, remaining fixated on her's. She found it most uncomfortable... "We brook no servants or slaves in House Lr'gan, so you're lady will have to attend to herself while in our home."

Marzy could see in Bery's body language that this one made her just as uncomfortable as the other one... he was quick to try to drag her attention away from Bery.

"That should not be a problem... I did say I was a friend first, and servant second!"

Both Lok and Grey bowed to the female. "Thank you for allowing my family to stay Lal'rgan,"

"I suppose Marzy will have to stay outside with the haledri for the night? I've always found that makes a good threat for misbehaving guests, but that's just me," Tur took a step forward... only to be stopped by Bery who took one of his hand in her own. If there's one thing she didn't want right now, it was to be left alone with that... thing.

"Misbehaving? But I haven't done a thing to warrant punishment!" Yet, he couldn't help but add in his mind. He smiled brightly at Lalr'gan before bowing down to her as well. "Thank you for you hospitality, Heir of Lalr'gan. Bery and I BOTH will be sure to repay the kindness your house has shown us."

Lalr'gan sort of ignored the promise of repayment, that was not required. "Come, my mother enjoys company. We have a bath for washing the dust from the road, food if you are hungry, beds if you are tired and steel if you require sanctuary." She looked at Tur'geis. "You are free to use them as well, though I know you do not need them, Turgies." She said flatly, but with maybe a small bit of hope on the inside that he'd not just depart back to Sarghress territory.

Tolr'gan listened in with hearing enhanced by blood magic. "Well damn. No awkwardness or embarrassment at all. That's no fun." Well, back to spear chucking, drinking n' fighting. He grabs his spears again. The kotorks seemed to have been competing with him specifically. Since Veras had come to be part of the House he got questioned a bit about his sisters. He smiled a he thought about Nalr'gan on a pile of unconscious Kotorks, making a necklace from all the teeth she collected from her would be suitors.

Lok looked over his shoulder at Tur'geis, "Feel like checking up on Kyolr'gan big guy?" he asked, fully aware of what he would say. Lok looked back at Lalr'gan, the smile not fading, "Thanks Lalr'gan, I'll try not to bring anymore of my family around with out sending a messenger ahead first." he thought for a moment. "Actually other then Zan'nah I think this is it..." he said, his thumb and his forefinger on his chin. He shrugged, turning back to Bery, her anxiety radiating from her like a beacon. "You'll like Kyolr'gan, she's really kind. Come on, let's go see her!" He took Bery's hand and half dragged her up towards the tower, leaving the others behind.

Grey smiled at her mate's antics as he led Bery up the stairs to the apartment floor. She turned to Lalr'gan, nodding her thanks before turning to take Tur'geis and Marzipan by the hands and taking them with her, following her mate's lead. "Come, we go too." she said, a smile on her face.
