concern about roads ahead

Postby thealbinobutterfly on Mon May 13, 2013 3:54 pm

Hey Guys,

It's Monday and I noticed my advice to ask the Nals about the roads ahead was not receiving any votes. :( I don't ask for votes normally, *blush* because, it feels weird, but, *doh* I think this is a legitimately good advice we should be trying to get passed. ^^; If we go ahead with our travels, we really ought to hear for any rumours or, if there's been anything going on, you know? *blush*

meh. let me know what you think. ^^; :S

Where we're going at the moment (another skyport on the edges of the northern rim of the Mist Sea), the Nals most likely don't have any relevant info for us. The Nal outpost is in the southern rim, between the outpost and our current destination, it's pretty damn far. It took about a few weeks to get from the outpost to Amavarde on foot, so from the outpost to the skyport on foot, my guess it would take months of not a few years to reach. So I doubt the Nals send any explorer's willing (or foolish) enough to make such a long trip northward.

I believe you should ask that question to Milli this coming friday in the LA. It would better fit asking a npc's who has knowledge trading routes.

also, changing the wording a little might be a good idea since we're not exactly using roads. ;)

I agree with goblin in that we won't be getting much in the way of critical info from the Nals, as the north is basically uncharted territory for everybody.

However, we can still ask about what settlements we can find along the way, such a who holds the furthest north outpost/town/whatever to Nagyescsed

Maybe we can pick up some triple "A" maps at the outpost.
If I knew what I was doing I'd be dangerous.
