Too late on the prisoner; Dycle challenge her to a duel and if she wins, she goes free. Odd'anna wants to give her to the Nals and let them deal with it.

i like how xenon and some other dude are just running off chasing the mimians, lol!

:D i honestly have no idea what to do with that lady, but i don't think we should kill her. She's blunt. I like blunt! We could put her to use if we want to, but i think we should just let her hit the road and let her take her chances.

Dycle took his option down. As cold as it is to say it, we should kill her or enslave her. If she goes free, then she'll run home with info on our clan. Enslaving her is not a much better option, since she has the pride of a warrior officer (meant something in that era) and we have like maybe 2 slave trainers we haven't heard from since I joined PTP.

Miburo's character (Khanzalika) used to be an Overseer. Not sure what she's doing now.

Edit: I should have said she used to be THE Overseer. Cuz she was badass and led them for a long time.

Oh, and Purrsha shows she does know some first aid after all. ;)

Niar'suru isn't on the airship(He's owned by Hfar, who currently has Fila'sofi active), he's back at the colony with my other character(Jan'avin) raising their daughter(Ni'ainu). Ninorok, my other character, was/is a healer, and I do be a paying member. ;)

Hmm, I know Ninorok is a healer but wasn't he stated to remain in the city because he didn't want to leve his family? It's the reason I haven't used him before this, or I'd have switched between Ombr'eh and Nonorok when showing the healers.
Thanks for the tip about Niar'suru/Fila'sofi though. I'd missed them having the same player. Or was that just for the first trip?

Toss her out after a tinisi turin punishment (bonus point if you get the reference). ;)

That was my character Jan'avin. Ninorok has only recently joined the Zerr'andaes family. He left the Sekai and for a while had been flapping in the wind. XD I'm pretty sure Hfar is still playing Sofi, but he's been super busy with school and hasn't been able to get online much.

I agree, we should just finish her off and be done with it, no trying to convert her or enslave her or letting her go, just finish her off so she can't escape and cause more harm to us later (I remember how fearful we all were when Joker Face escaped WAY BACK, we're lucky she never returned).

On the other hand, she is intelligent, competent as a leader, and inventive on the battlefield. Not to mention she knows how to build and operate the ballistae we're taking. If there was some way to cement her loyalty, she would be worth keeping. It really is too bad about the risk she poses for us should she rebel or escape, or both.

She has already provided all the useful information she has. And it's not even useful to us.

choby40k wrote:as intel goes im pretty sure that her subordinates escaped and are reporting back

Yes, but their information will be a scrambled mess of rumors and exaggerations fueled by fear and an attempt at saving face. We don't want somebody who can maintain a level head about the matter telling her side of the story to the enemy.

choby40k wrote:we should let her go. it may come back to bite us, or karma may reward us. were such bad asses we should toss the small fish back in hopes of something bigger and more interesting

No. Not just 'no', but hell no. Karma is hardly a favorable deity in the real world, and it makes open mockery of attempts to appeal to it in the DTverse. And we're certainly not that level of badass, to the point of inviting all of Mimaneid to come knocking on Amaravarde's front door. Because though they hate the Nals, they're not above crushing some random clan just for demonstrating an alliance with them and being arrogant about it. I don't want our clan to be made an example of. We kill her or enslave her, preferably the former. In any cases, under no circumstances do we allow her to escape. If we choose to enslave her and she tries to run, well, she won't have anywhere to go once we're up in the air. But she could sabotage things or just collect more intel on us to save for her opportunity to flee while we're on the ground.

Don't we have ballistas of our own though? I figure our techs can reverse engineer any part of the Mim Ballista design if it proves to be better than our own versions at the moment, without help from the captive.

The key difference is about the caliber of the ammo employed and distance. Their shoot bigger bolts that can pierce big fortifications walls at a very long safe range. Ours can pierce rooftops and piss off folks who are busy trying to relax in a bath. ^^;
A survivalist should not be a pessimist, he should always be positive, happy and enjoying life more than anyone else because he understands that each minute of peace we have is precious and unique, and he never takes it for granted.

Khanzalika is having bad luck with crossbows, first one hits her house then she gets pegged in the chest.
