THE SHIP!

Postby Hetros on Sat Sep 29, 2012 3:53 am

What features do you want on the ship? Simple and quick!

I for one want drop bays to lower golems directly onto the ground. And possibly to develop golem rifles for the golems to carry :P

Cannons of explosive death, raining exploding steel on the puny mortals below. Also, our ship needs a name, I say we call it the S.S. Dude Dude John Smith the III. :P

Call me crazy but I envision the air ship like the dirigibles in “Iron Sky” with sliding bay doors and the air bags covered in metal to protect them from popping. Also remember to use helium not hydrogen.

Yeah, we certainly don't want it to go Hindenburg on us, now do we? ^^;

If you notice the bottom of the ship is a a natural air (floater) foci, the bag is likely altitude control/ballast via use of a industrial heat stone and common air.

Let's see: medi bay, armory, bunks/hammocks, kitchen. Perhaps also a place for storing for whatever interesting plants and animals we might find?

You ever seen the Airships from Final Fantasy 12? That's what I think of.

Since we're going with parachutes....

Lifeboats? We can attach wings to them?

Maybe hang gliders could be an option...

Deck chairs to rearrange on occasion.

Just posted in the jobs thread about something like this. There needs to be a warrior/explorer type class that fills this.

I advocate this, we need a paratrooper's drop bay... AH who needs a drop bay just jump off the sides.

As for stuff on the ship, we totes need a bomb bay of some sort, goes with the paratroopers idea and you never know what things we need to drop straight out of the bottom hey?

Canteen, bar, restaurant, smoke club, winery, bierstubbe for dvergar, bistro, caffee, bowling, sauna, swimming pool, karaoke, laterna magica, set of luxury shops, 3D cinema, tennis field ... - did I forget anything that is ussually on the cruiser ships ?

But if seriously, a canteen would be nice.

But also a laboratory would be handy (we are going to explore the skies, no ? something Bougenville or Cook, - yes, I know, I know - Columbus had no lab with him, same as Cortez or other conquistadores)
