2 more volunteers needed! If we get at least 1 more today, the expedition will go ahead :)

Yeah sure, I'll volunteer. As a smith, I don't really have anything to do otherwise
What? Is something wrong with my hair? Why do you keep looking at me like that?-Winkro

I believe that is enough for the journey to begin. Alright then so who is bringing the ale and snacks? Also make sure to bring lots of explosives so this fishing trip can be done in one turn.

What?

I can be optimistic right lol.

Ok, how about this:

"Arr me hearties, time to fish! Pack supplies and set sail!"

Tim, do you think we should specify a location already?

I'll Pm the secondary objective to Thalar and we can can add it as an additional EA next week for the fishing crew to all vote on. If only the folks on the boat vote on it it'll pass without effecting the primary mission, though Thalar may add a day to the time we're out. But we can be signaled from shore by flares if needed.
If I knew what I was doing I'd be dangerous.

Hey guys

I have updated OP with list of those who are now participating in the expedition. Remember you must now vote EVERY TURN for the expedition until it's over!!

Fishing Expedition: Checking out area for dock

Things like that?

More than likely it will be something more like "Spend the day catching fish and moving towards area J23 and J24"

Yeah. "fishing expedition" requires too many characters to be put in front of every advice.

Instead, you should just vote for whatever Timotheus or I post.

It maybe put in front of the advise when the surveying is done, so that the people know to vote on it but, yeah.

The locations I'm considering for dock sites are H-18 and I-23/24 or J-23/24 (depending on where the lake shore is assumed to be). The first because of its position near the skeleton, plains, and ruins, the other because its near the mining tunnels. A third location would be between them at K-20, but there is no reason for one there yet.
If I knew what I was doing I'd be dangerous.

Tim, decide which is the "Most" important for the growth/survival/success of the colony.

Important to the clan. Hmm...
Well, both are equally important or unimportant depending on your point of view.

If I had to pick one to start with I'd say H-18. It's closer to the home port so would be a faster turn around for floating the dock components there and theoretically an easier site to work on being a plain. It also already has some possible housing units on shore there for the work crew and is close enough to the main harbor that a mana flare should be seen over the lake. It's the center of several locations we will want to be sending exploration groups to eventually, and even more important, is the most likely start off point for any expedition going back to Hanen or Chel (We came through that way when we came up here). If there is ever going to be a trade route west, that's where it will start so as to take advantage of the most open terrain and existing roads.

I-23/24 and J-23/24 are the locations were a dock could intersect closest to the mining tunnel road. By sailing to that location miners can avoid a great deal of dangerous ground travel, bulky equipment brought in, and any ores and gems mined transported back more easily.
If I knew what I was doing I'd be dangerous.
