Tei'kaliath Healer Thread

Postby Tsuris on Sat May 26, 2012 8:24 pm

Alright so I didn't see a healer thread in the forums...

So I made one.

Healers, let's discuss stuff here, be it keeping our medical supplies in stock, healing our wounded, (or healing our feral guests) There are 17 of us registered at the moment, so I think we should try for some organization especially with the upcoming war.

Registered Healers according to the list:

--Adum'ir
--Althasandrian
--Alyana
--Alzak
--ArLein TeiKaliath
--Asera'thali
--Drac'noaral
--Elif Ssemua
--Fae'shiel
--Kay'sae
--Ketrilla Amakiir TeiKaliath
--Niar'suru
--Ninorok
--Ombr'eh
--Ruaka
--Rutt
--Tsuris'Zinn

Alright, so it has been mentioned a few times that an ER or something similar staffed by healers would be a good idea.

I agree completely.

Keeping a few healers ready in case wounded come back to the colony from an expedition, or a hunting trip or anything so they can receive immediate care is a good idea, and something I can fully get behind.

Whenever a team goes out, having medical services ready as standard seems like a great idea. This way, we won't risk it being meta gaming if someone gets wounded and we suddenly decide to be ready just in case.

Any of you lot have thoughts on this? (non healers, don't be afraid to voice your opinions and suggestions as well, you're our patients after all)

Uhm, right now i´m doing antiseptics as Kay and i wanna ask the crafters to produce some healer tools so that we healers can make out of bandages, antiseptics and those tools our medi kits for the battle.

Basically that the healer squad will have besides their armor (and possible weapon to defend themselves) each a medi-kit which can heal fromminor to heavy injuries with those three ressources.

That's a good idea James ^^ getting our disinfectant stuff along with the now surplus of bandages is a good call

I also ask that those of us that went on the trip to vote on the LA advice so we can report to Anji on what we saw while we were patching up the Dvergar. Since there are only 4 of us though, (including me) we'll need more healers to vote on it rather then only those who went on the trip, unless Thalar votes, which I'm not sure about ^^;

Hm. Ninorok is my alt so this becomes a little complicated. I think we only get one vote per account, right? So I either have to vote for the MS or for the Healers. Has anyone else run into similar problems with voting and their alts?

Yeah I kind of figured that issue would come up ^^;

I don't have an alt character, but I think you only get a single vote per account. so if you think you could spare your vote for the Healer action since Ninorok was one of the ones on the trip and there are other MS that could vote for their action to make it pass, I'd appreciate it *bigsmile*

The MS vote has more than enough folks, so I voted for the healer option with Nino. Just a warning that it'll probably continue to be a balancing act for me, where I'll have to vote based on whose option I feel is more important overall. I'll do my best to keep it fair.

Thanks Catriana

Drac'noaral is the only one left that went on the trip, and that won't be enough to get the option to pass, if anyone else wants to vote for it, go ahead.

Healers treat Mirula. Use everything needed for survival. Operate if needed - 75 letters, include every healer who votes for it, makes sure that everything we have and might be needed gets used for her survial and includes the case if her wounds are too severe to went untreated without an operation.

I'd leave out the operation part, I think that's covered under the "everything needed"

After the kits are made, i think the healers should send with the warriors a team of 6 or 3, depending on how many are readyto risk their lives with Mk2 or Healer armor on.

On day 14 i change back to my warrior chara so that leaves it to you guys to find a squad leader and enough active healers to come with us on day 15. :)

It was my understanding that any class that went with the warrior to war that was not a warrior risked rather certain death... but the thought of the warriors getting hurt and not being able to help bothers me enough to risk going along to help... *hmmm*

Thalar clarified that some MS and some healers will be allowed to come. :) The skype transcription is in the warrior thread.

Anyone willing to go to war to make sure out troops stay alive and patched up?
