Maybe he´s not dead yet, Het, maybe we can still drink with Brorn someday and laugh about this part of the expedition when everyone, evne Brorn, thought he was dead. Would be nice for sure...

*bonk*

NOW he's dead... So lets all raise a glass in celebration to his life!

~ Say Pariel, would a 'wake' type cerimony be what your after? I'm just remembering the one that was held for my 'origional' character J'hon... If you want details I can give a couple of links easily enough, not that you'd have to look far (All the details are in my families vault-thread). Could something akin to that (with appropriate adaptions to suit your character of course) be suitable to you?

Libation? That's a waste of booze, Brorn would turn in his grave...

No, we need to drink, and drink, and drink until there is an acute danger of anyone walking by open flame, for great real risk of combusting due to the alcohol coming out their pores... this is how brorn should be remembered... *wee*

New Orleans style Jazz funeral, sad slow music on the way to the burial to morn Brorn's passing, and happy fast music on the way back, to celebrate his life, (like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG6KH905cGU) I think that would fit.

While Zinn normally only drinks to drown the memories of past shames, I think he'd be willing to raise a glass in memory of a fallen clansman.

But what do we do with the ashes? Bury them and plant a tree on top of it or scatter them to the winds?

We had always buried the dead so far, esepcially after the BS we dug lots of graves.

Keep in mind we buried our dead underground because we didn't want to foul our cavern's air with burning things (just go with me here, it was a prominent argument from days gone by when Q died).

However we're on the surface now, so we can burn all we want. ^^;

I'm for a pyre, then the plant tree, get drunk around tree and spread ashes around dree as we trink... *beer*

I support the pyre, because Pariel said he preferred it in the shoutbox. I do love the idea of a burial with an apple tree on it, though.
