Armored Dragon Flesh Golem

Postby laserkid on Fri Dec 02, 2011 3:56 am

Well...golems are hard to make and control paths for mana are pretty time consuming. I suggest a making a piloted armored flesh (bone) golem like Bob but bad ass and breaths fire. Make a pretty epic scene to see that thing climb up the tower to fight the Griffin too. Burn it feathers to stop its flight then ground forces swarm it. Would appeciate some artsy people to draw it out with the pilot in the chest, golem engines in the hips and back, fire foci in the mouth and wing turned into scything weapons.

Purpose: Combating beast, disabling flying beast by burning feathers or wings. Terror weapon.
Strengths: Shortcut, mana paths and joint structure.
Weaknesses: Bone is fragile compared to steal or stone, piloted, cannot fly, will not last forever.

Supporting this so hard.
If the above post makes no sense, just assume I've been drinking. It's a pretty safe bet.

I will support if we can find one big enough for Anji to ride on top of in an armored cupola of badassery >>

instead of taking months to promote actions for this, why don't you submit the design and see what is really needed? Unless you've already talked to Thalar, that is.

Bad idea...

I'd rather build our war golems from the scraps of the golem graveyard we found. Of course, we can keep the dragon skull for ornamental purposes and use the dragon bones for crafting.

If anything, I would cast steel replicas of the bones.

Hmmm...that would fix join surfaces, bore holes for mana is the hard part..

Also we need actions in the game flesh out classes and aide in leveling up. That's why their written non-specific. Flesh Golem, Large is even generalized. This would include anything bigger then a Hiladrii.

Like:
Flesh Golem, Small (Tikkitik-Trideer)
Flesh Golem, Medium (Humans to Bears)
Flesh Golem, Large (Bigger things)

I rather we just replicate the dragon bone structure to be used for a dragon like wargolem that can ram into enemy infantry with a built in fire foci flamethrower.

The bones itself can be crafted into a armor with steel, this dragon armor should be given to our most powerful warrior..that would be Anjhali herself.
