Explorers: Sectors that need exploring

Postby laserkid on Mon Nov 07, 2011 1:24 pm

Farmer: "These darned green rocks we keep digging up. Well, put them back in the pile with the rest."
Explorer: "That is copper you fools!"
Farmer: "How was I supposed to know that?"
Explorer: "I don't know, lick it?"
Farmer: "Feel free to lick anything that comes from out of our fertilized field."
Explorer: "..."

The only sector with reveal resources done to it has been D19 (G18 & I18 have active reveal resources actions ongoing). That means even the heavily trafficked home sectors are not fully explored yet.

Working on the ruins at E12, we FINALLY gotten there after a week and a half of hard back breaking road construction but we got there. :D

Starting some MAJOR relic hunting in a few hours hopefuly with at least 4-5 folks we can speed this and get some good treasure finds our clan really needs. After we searched the ruins twice we gonna repeat this double research action pattern to E13 to E16 to make sure this line of road becomes a very lucrative resources harvesting zones and later be converted into a farm land with some potential boat fishing in the marshes up north once we build a simple dock and some fishing boats.

You didn't need to start a 3rd thread for this. We already have a thread for the explorers and it hasn't even fallen off the front of the Community Centre...

Anyone has been asking Thalar if a repeated search in an allready searched square can reveal additional resources ?

(From in-game perspectives the squares are quite big and thus within an initial search we might miss some goodies...)

I don't know, she has yet to update any of the searched stuff. My guess is there is a major update coming.

I was chatting with Minalia on the skype about the issue and not only the re-search is possible and might unveil something new, but also some actions might affect (eg. cutting down a foreest might unveil something hidden).

I said might..does not mean its highly possible. Cutting down a forest will reveal felled trees to be collected and turned into lumber. This may affect the hunting game as in it could force the GM hand and force to relocate those animals to another sector. This also transform the sector into a plain sector..viable to be turned into a farm sector.
