Thalar wrote:When a group project is started that needs more than one turn to be completed, someone must suggest the project again the next turn and any more turns until it is completed. This is intended to reflect the project system in PtP2 which will require votes over multiple turns (but not the re-adding to the system). For convenience's sake and because I can't see who votes for an action at the moment, the same number won't be required, though it would be good for the overall completion of the project to have similar numbers working on it each turn.
Projects won't keep progressing in the background without votes, but there is no set number of votes unless if I specify a set number of votes (like for the Nal'sarkoth class) in the page. Projects that go outside of the colony site (and require 6+ to do so) ought to have 6+ votes to be most effective the following turn(s) as well.

Thalar wrote:Like I've mentioned before, I can't even tell who votes for what. Trying to have individual items, achievements etc in a system which isn't made to support it nor even tells me who is doing what, isn't viable.
Kir'ima wrote:Can day-to-day-always-the-same type of jobs (i.e., feeding animals, collecting meat and eggs, fishing, watching crops between planting and harvest, basic guard duties, etc.) be put on autopilot at all?
Thalar wrote:Not any more than it could be in PtP.
Minalia wrote:That advice in the EA that was meant to check what we have in our inventory was meant to be to check on what golems tools we have and the amount of gems we brought with us. Can you tell us did we bring our drill golems, mining pumps gear and the weapons the engineer built, we brought every last piece of golem gear with us when we had to evacuate Theravare. It would be mighty stupid for our people to leave out the machine gun tripods siege weapons.
Thalar wrote:Out of the items you listed you brought the automatic crossbows.
Kir'ima wrote:Thalar, I apologize if this takes a lot of time, but it is causing some confusion.
Could we ask you to please update the resource list at the bottom of the PtP main page and delete items that we no longer have?
(or if that is not possible, maybe a simple list of what we do have?)
Thalar wrote:Unfortunately, that is not possible. An updated inventory will be made for PtP2 but until then the clan's inventory will remain vague. To give a simplified answer, you have what you need for basic day-to-day tasks and you need to acquire what you need to create the colony up on the surface and to make it thrive. If there's a shortage of basic necessities it will be mentioned in the colony archive.
Tibanna Vilrath wrote:can we assume that every building built now without a townmap is build somewhere logically? i.e. something potential dangerous (like the forge) isn't build next to a wooden house. or is it necessary to say what conditions the construction site must have? and btw when do we get a detailed map of f20 :p
Thalar wrote:I assume the Tei'kaliaths know how to place buildings when they build, and they have Nal'sarkoth experts there to help, too. A simple "We construct log houses" will suffice, when the clan has planks.
As for a detailed map, I have no ETA on that at the moment, sorry.
Kir'ima wrote:EA page text wrote: You may not apply mana arts the clan does not have training with in your actions.
10+ people attending the Nal classes meant that the entire clan could use that knowledge
Given the above, is it assumed that all clan members can use mana arts that large numbers of clan members were previously trained in such as shields or earth mana?
Thalar wrote:No. Mana arts are not so easily taught, so they will remain the provinces of those jobs who learnt them previously once PtP2 arrives. And since the ranked miner died along with most of the miners, anything they learned is lost.
Minalia wrote:Because of the huge amount of tools. weapons. armor and food we had to bring to the colony did we bring in any carts from our inventory? We had 2 steel carts we used in the past to carry supplies to the sharens. It would have been mighty stupid on our part to just ignore those carts when we needed to carry a huge amount of supplies for the colony.
Thalar wrote:They were traded for a wooden wagon suitable for surface use.
Aurawyn wrote:I just have two small questions...
1. What benefit do we have as individuals from having a mana affinity?
2. What exactly is "Basic mana manipulation" anyhow, what can we do with it?
Thalar wrote:1. None. It has never been more than for RP flavor in PtP1 and this seems unlikely to change for PtP2.
2. Nothing that will affect your actions in the game. You can create a small light source for yourself, wear yourself out by heating up things, or place mana into a gem. Using mana is the same as using your life energy, just so you know.
Minalia wrote:Both mana specialists players have gone awol, Can we use fire and earth offensive skills if we simply put a advice like I am using a earth foci stave to help in building a stone building or burn some animal to a crisp with the fire foci?
It's completely unfair that our clan has to depend on only 2 players and that those are no longer active.
Minalia wrote:1- How big is each square in the grid? The consensus most of us believe is 7 miles squares wide but we are not sure on that.
2- How large is the river separating F20 and F21? The length of the river will determine how are we gonna deal with it in the coming turns.
Thalar wrote:1. An exact value is not being given.
2. It's wide, and the water flows fast.
Minalia wrote:Does the term automatic crossbow refer only to the scout main weapon or does it also include the 10 big machine gun tripods crossbows listen in the inventory?
