The only options to get enough support to get looked at in depth were 5, 6, 7 and 9, so I will assume the clan's interest in these other locations are low. It's looking like 5 will be our winner, but just to make sure, let's run one more poll. If so, we can spend this turn deciding where to settle in 5.

I agree that the general region of number "5" is best...

I will be posting a version of that area 5 'region' map shortly, it will include three suggested locations with that map to focus on... I'll post a link once the thread is up...

I register my stern opposition towards option 6.

Minameid (featured in a recent historical fiction in Daydream) is the settlement the Nal'Sarkoth fled from after losing a war against its rulers. This is extremely dangerous to us as they are likely to be hostile toward an ally of the Nal. Not to mention Minameid's citizens are drow, unlike the potential enemies in the other areas, and have skills and abilities equal or greater to us. They also have a stable and established base from where to launch attacks, and no law or ally to restrict them as the case might have been in Chel.

Trying to stay hidden from them would also be a poor option as the danger would be everpresent, curb expansion and practically eliminate all trade.
