I think if you are looking for a potential mate there should be some type of idea of what type of male the clan wants her to meet. If we push her into parties my understanding is that this will influence her future development? So if you are looking for a military style influence maybe a better option would be directing her towards taking a more active role in martial activities or if healing arts are more of a concern then push her towards taking a more active role with the nurses. From what I have read so far her main interests seem to be music, so instead of a party maybe encourage her to take a more active role in the arts by either supporting artists or "jamming" with well known artists outside of the clan etc etc.

I think it might be worth bearing in mind that her choice of mate (if she chooses herself rather than being pushed by the clan) is highly likely to influence the future directions and "flavor" of the clan.

I also think it is most likely better to place her in a social situation where she is most likely to be comfortable. My take on Chel life is that any Val party is likely to be highly political and choosing/declining potential mates may have larger political repercussions.

If possible it would be nice to set up a situation that was both a love match and politically advantageous to the clan.

We could use that as well as motivatorfor An'Jhali to relax and to have some time for herself, like a hot bath or a massage as well.

How about we do a list of what we want An'Jhali to do as well/instead of all the serious busy-busy workalcoholic for this or next friday?^^

Some people gets already bored with the settlement discussion, so with those advises/volunteer works we may be able to change the flow into growing/changing An'Jhali´s character. :3

EDIT: Woot! 1000 post! XD XD XD

Maybe ask the Nals a short summary report on what has been happening in chel since the moon festival. :0
Hell we could just ask anjhali to learn a few combat mana skills for her own protection and have a male..a very good looking one be the teacher.

Looks like we have to wait a bit longer before we can pull a changeover so that instead of maps we can oncentrate on our Illhars developpement again. :D

Since the updates are taking a break over christmas, maybe you could get your chance to post and advice on this matter... I STRONGLY suggest posting it here first though, if only to prevent problems from misinterpritations of wording...

Something alone the lines I've already suggested would be safest... But basically as long as the focus is on 'socialising' instead of 'dating' it should be fine...

As long as she gets under more people and finally starts to relax and enjoy more of her time instead of being all depressed/serious, i´m fine with it. :3

But i think we should wait till after the x-mas speciale for the right wording and to call some of those who may support this *socialising* to arms to counter the ones who will advise against it. :A

We can also to volunteer to look for partys happening the next days which our Illhar may attend to be under people herown status. *smallsmile*

Volunteer work: "Organise a joint Nal/Tei party so all can relax and socialise"

That has merit... but would it work as all one thing (as in the party automaticaly happens)? Or will the party itself come later? Hmm... Either result is a win if you ask me...

(actually, that could be posted as either and advice or a volunteer... making it an advice kinda force An'Jhali to get involved - which was kinda the point of the idea in general...)

We could do both, organizing the joint party through volunteer work as well as advising An'Jhali to invite the Nal Vals to it.
We spend some money we still have/get the stuff for the party from the Nal/they help us with it (we leave that to Kern´s/Reza´s imaginations) and then we get the party scene in which our Illhar will socialise with other Nal Vals (some of them male~) and can relax/enjoy a bit (as long as we don´t do anything embarrassing).

How about we post both - volunteer + advise; after we decided on a settlement for our colony to celebrate that? Then our party would have a reason (besides getting An'Jhali more socialized). 8)

Since the updates are over and many people will leave Nal city to join the blue banner guys for the surface picknick, what do you all think about the social ideas we ahd so far?

We can put them up next week, depending on Taruna´s result for her Badai search thingie. :3

We had a party last week, that most people didn't contribute ideas too. We have no need for another one.

I agree that the 'celebration' was a wasted opportunity...

I expect we wont likely GET another opportunity like this either... Sorry Sen, i think this idea has gone cold...

Well, she has Badai now, so no biggie. But, arts would be a good diplomatic tactic. Spellsongs anyone?
