I have been a member of the Warriors for almost a year, I've been there and seen all the drama, but also all the good things coming out from it, We won the Dvaraka war, We helped the Kal'Yantra with the Dvergar.

If I was to Become the successor of Shiir, then I will aim for these goals.

*Since I'm living in Europe my time zone is abit ahead of the USA. This how ever should not effect my ability to Answer any PM's and forum posts.

* As for the Warrior sheet Will be updated with a "Screen time" calendar showing who is going to be in the next update.

* Ranged weaponry, Mounted combat, heavy armour, siege weapons and street combat Training and tactics, will be the main goal of our deployment. I will of course finish our Shield first, This is my long term plan, since it will take a lot of money and time to complete. Since traps are more of a engineer and scout thing we will leave it with them, but if you have any plans say them and I will figure it out.

* At the end of every Month there will be a confess call over skype for all warriors, and ranked where we focus on the future of our warriors, since there is People from all over the world there will be held on other times of the day. (This will mainly been in the weekend) I will be at both calls. this can be where what People want from the warriors or what the other ranked want from us. The time of the call will be decided when the end of the month is coming up.

* I will post my draft every Friday, allowing you to give feedback and give new ideas for the final Draft.
This will also make sure any errors and chances that needs to made can be done, My voice is not power, its only me speaking your voice and mind, but that's also why I need you to speak with me.

A little bit about my self:
I'm 18 and from Denmark and I work as a smith from 7am to 3pm.
Not much overtime work and no homework.
I like to speak with people and to drink cola
I suffer from a light form of Dyslexic so my spelling at times will be abit off, I have no problems with reading however.

I gave an arm for this clan and I'm willing to give alot more.
Viking for warmaster, vote Wod'rar! RAWR!

I have a quick question for all of the canidates, which wod already answered, but I personally am very interested in knowing. If you become warmaster, would you diversify the troop base? (IE, allowing the scouts to go back to being scouts and actually train a group specifically for ranged combat) or include any sort of infantry tactics? (IE, pike vs cav, shield walls, etc?). Thanks :)

Tha ability for ranged combat is something I definitely plan to include for the warriors. If it will be Mana bolts or our famous crossbows will be shown by the chance that opens first. Mana bolts cost time to learn at Ortho and crossbows need to be assembled.

I also saw Kitab's desire to get the scouts in new directions, a direction I see holding great opportunities for the clan. So, yes. I plan to add ranged combat. But this will never hold me from accepting any assistance the scouts are willing to give.

Also, the "infantry tactics" is a thing that needs special attention.
Until now, we managed to get on and over come enemies as we were. We didn't have to face mounted attackers and wargolems yet. That will maybe not stay like this forever. New weapons are also a thing worth adding to the forces, although we should avoid to be too hasty. They need to be produced, we need to train them, and not always is is possible to be "prepared for anything". Every additive weapon, every different armour costs resources and time to train in them. So I needs to be gauged cautiously what will be added an when.
My personal plans would be:
1. Shields!
2. Ranged ability
3. Mount-countermeasures (Spears?)
4. Heavy armours
5. Everything else that may come

1. On ranged units
I'd say yes, it's about time we reintroduced ranged units to the warriors, this will give us greater freedom from having to ask for the scouts to provide ranged combat. I would ask that we acquire larger versions (not significantly larger) of the crossbows already used by the scouts. If possible I would say we somehow upgrade the ammunition/shooter to able to fire charged mana bolts, or any form of deadlier ammunition. If it is too tricky for larger auto crossbows, we already have bows that can outfit a squad, so we should add more of those to our inventory in the short term. Ideally though we would have crossbows as in drow standards they're normally much more armoured and the crossbow is the great equalizer against armour.

2. Polearms unit

I would go against using pikes, simply because this would make us far less maneuverable on the battlefield as well as far less effective man to man. I would place preference for medium to short spears. Of course units will be equipped with shields, enough to cover vitals and upper thighs. I would most likely have most our melee units armed this way so as to give them more flexibility when the situation demands it (going to try to make swords standard for all including ranged). With regards to possible fighting formations, I would suggest shield walls only if we're facing a force with larger ranged capacity on us, though I wouldn't rely solely on it i.e. supplement with mana shields. This is also why I want as many melee to be armed with spear and shields as this would allow us to field a larger wall for our ranged to hide behind, and lob stuff at the enemy.

3. Mounted units

I honestly don't think we can field these units any time soon as we'll need to build facilities for the mount, to feed, house, clean, train etc. It will take time for us to get to that stage and ability. I honestly can't say how large the mounted unit will be in terms of number, 2 squads would be the likely number, but this will depend on size of our forces when we decide to move in that direction. As to the type of mount, I would prefer some type of light, to medium cavalry- they'll be able to escape heavier cavalry and still harass them, but good enough as light hit and run flank units. That and light-medium cavalry will be much cheaper to maintain then heavy. So with that sort of cavalry, I'd say skirmish with melee capabilities.

4. Counter mana-users

I think this one is quite important though it will be more to do with our training then any new units. We need to have tactics and strategies in regards to defeating mana users. Prioritizing their demise would be key in winning some battles. And more importantly we will need to learn how to deal with the very real possibility of demons/summoners. I know it wasn't asked but I thought I'd add this since this is about our capabilities as a fighting force.

Something occurred to me when reading Taru's response to my previous question (thank you very much for that both of you btw ^^;) but do either of you have any ideas on how you'd deal with wargolems? Obviously we're not going to be fighting giant 30 story tall wargolems any time soon, but smaller ones are quite possible in the coming time, and a sword really wouldn't do much against them... sorry bout all the questions xD Just wanna really know what ya'll's thoughts on this kinda thing is. :)

If I remember right we already trained to dispel them on the poor spider golem. In such a case speed could be an enormous advantage: Fast there -> Fast dispelled -> Next target (Mounted units would be at best).

Aww, it's weird to see Madea step down. *hmmm*
Never thought he would.

Anyhow, I think Taruna is the best canditate. Not because she was my squad leader but because she always helps newbies and is very active in forum. ^^
From what I've seen, she mostly knows what is best.

Also, I want to see Taru-chan in Shiir's armor.

while i agree with you on that Wod, what matters is the GM (aka Kern) says. if he says you are still unable to preform full duty status, requardless of what job you are doing, you would be ill fit to do the job.

Huh, i don't remember the warriors ever doing any dispel training on golems in the past. It might have been written as a secondary action that was never shown in the comic so it might be a good idea to actualy have the warriors do that training as a main action to see if Kern will allow it?
