LA advice regarding the gathering of the clans

Postby Ein'keos on Fri Jul 30, 2010 4:34 pm

Because it was said the An'jhali is the one who has to go to the meeting I think that she needs to be voted there through the LA. As such, I'm hoping with this thread to brainstorm ideas about how best to phrase such advice. For example, one could just say "An'jhali, you should go to the conference and vote for whatever Zala'ess wants" but I have a feeling many in the clan can think up resolutions Zala'ess would want that we would not be willing to support. For example, if the resolution says every clan that votes for it has to taint its members, or every clan has to enter the war, some might consider the costs of these resolutions unnecessarily high. So perhaps advices with caveats, like, "don't vote for the resolution if it obliges us to do X general type of thing." Just hoping people here can brainstorm things it could be we wouldn't want to vote for.

The only people who will be able to give such advices will the the escort, and a few ranks and no else. Basicaly this a free turn to go full anarchy like last time.

We can advise her before she leaves Min. In fact, i'm pretty sure we're supposed to advise her for her to leave.

Oh god it's already started! :A

I hear what you're saying Ein'keos...full tainting would be an absolute no-no for sure, damn the consequences...committing to attack the Sarghress I am less certain about. I would very much like to see the reactions of the other clans on the guest list before deciding how to respond to that. If other clans do not want to join the war, we may be able to get away with saying 'No' to the Sharen as well.

Not sure what else they could want to talk about...

I doubt this secret meeting is about plotting against the Sarghress or to support mass Tainting. I mean the Illhardo, the Nal and the Bel aren`t the most likely Clans I would invite to such a a meeting. No of them is a Fan of a War or mass Tainting.

Personally I believe it has something to do with Zalas ambitions to rule the Clan without her sisters. Perhaps even as Sharen and not as Nidraa`Chal. After all the stuff that happend to her mate and her daugther I have the hope she came to the conclusion that the future her sisters predicting isn`t that great.

Anyway, we may getting dragged in the civil war between the sisters. Still better than a a big war.

Okay, I'm going to insert a bland advice that she should go to the meeting and use her best judgment. If anyone wants to add other advices over that like
"don't support if.." that'd be welcome and good. One LA is too short to fit everything in anyways.

I was dead tired last night and inserted an advice that's practically what Ein'keos suggested. Sorry about that. :( How can I get rid of it?

Sadly there´s no way to delete your advise. :(
I would like such a feature, but then there´s the probability that after some people voted for it already, it disappears and with it their votes.

Thanks. I'll take this as a warning to not try to participate when my eyelids keep falling shut every 4 seconds. ::wince::

Maybe in the future of PtP there will be such a feature for us to delete advise we made half-asleep, but for now we have to live with our faults it seems. :D
