Down Into The Well

Down Into The Well

It was all well. In your travels, you were visiting a great city of Faudal, one of the largest trading cities of known lands. A festival of year's eve was coming up, and everyone was arriving into the town to cheer, laughter and enjoy the carnivals. Including you.
Until you were captured and tossed into the well in the center of city during middle of night. A well that should have been sealed for all eternity, never to be opened.

You've heard tales of this well. It is extremely deep, very complicated maze of tunnels, waterworks and caves. Legends say that the kingdom of ancient times used the tunnels as its home, creating a nation spanning throughout all of known continent. But the underworld is dangerous, filled with monstrous creatures of this world and the next. Portals to deepest hells and chaos have opened there where the world's fabric is weak, deep underground, and unspoken horrors have crossed the path for millenia. To fight against such horrors, the kingdom of old built complex defense systems, from trapped corridors to magically enhanced maze parts that keep you locked in them.

Many adventurers would say it's a gold mine, as the relics of old are worth more than a single king would be able to pay. But at the same time, it's sure death for anyone to enter, for there are no known exits. Only known way into the labyrinth is through the well of Faudal, and even old historians cannot tell a single time known when the well would've been opened.

Locked down in a maze of caves, no known way out, and no promise of survival, it is time for you to choose.
Prepare to die, or prepare to kill.

Down Into The Well is a fast-paced, short-planned high-fantasy setting with dip of horror elements in it. Players are mighty characters, who have been kidnapped and tossed into unknown caverns taled to hold uncountable treasures, as well as doom. Their main objective is to get out of the caverns, while possibly grabbing everything useful with them along the way.

World has magic, enhanced items, multiple fantasy races, firearms, good living conditions and stuff like that. There are no set limits on characters (other than they should from "civilized" races that can partake festival in Faudal), but be prepared that GM WILL scale the Well's danger levels based on how over-powered you make your characters.

To join a game, simply copy, fill and post the following character sheet.

Name:
Gender:
Race:

Short description (image/physical description as well as short mental one describing personality and such):

Skills/talents/special abilities/good points/occupation:

Major flaws/weaknesses/prohibitors:

How was captured? (were you drugged, tricked or beaten half-to-death to get you into well?):

Equipment, including all the survival gear your character might have (In case of usable items, state the number/value/volume. Things like arrows, lamp oil or such don't need to be exactly tracked, just follow your own thinking on how much character has such things left. Also note that carrying a full backpack WILL make you slower and less agile.):

This topic shall serve as off-game notification board, mostly for character posting, as well as memorial area for all the characters that have died.
Because you WILL die.
Surely.
