But the problem is that Sidhe are NOT all that vulnerable to a mook with a spear. Again, by virtue of their elite status, it is entirely reasonable to assume that a Sidhe would be able to fight against a man with a spear and win through use of increased agility and speed. Furthermore, only spear-heads are steel, so it's also easy for a skilled warrior to deflect a spear blow with their arm, as long as the spear head did not come in contact with them. Furthermore, you eliminate the capacity to do trap damage through landslides, falling trees, pit-traps, etc., as well as make concussive blasts (excluding fragmenting weaponry or case shot) useless. In fact, other than iron-alloy based melee, projectile, or fragmenting weaponry, all other damage is useless. Even then, a Sidhe's martial prowess would likely allow them to avoid any melee or projectile weapon with ease.

I reiterate my previous argument that ten mundane men are more than sufficient to alter the course of a war if properly applied. Ten mostly-invulnerable ass-kickers, even more so.

It's possible that I'm over-estimating the capacity of a Sidhe to kick ass, and if so you can consider my argument redacted, but I believe that this is a legitimate concern (that a Sidhe would just dodge/deflect all incoming iron-based weaponry then shank multiple someones lethally) and that it should be either clarified (by further description of a Sidhe's martial prowess) or addressed (by providing Sidhe with a capacity to take damage from other materials).

Then you get folks like me, with an army that effectively exclusively uses copper and tin based, nonferrous metals. The hell am I supposed to do apart from alchemy based asspulls?

Has it been explicitly stated that asspulls are a very bad thing? If not, I do hereby declare that thou shalt not use asspulls and if your army is about to die, let it die gracefully. Or horrifically, depending on the situation.

Asspulling is inherently bad except in instances involving beautiful women and a certain kind of strung plastic beads. But we will not speak of such things here.

Point made and taken. Besides, anyone who's clever enough to set a trap for a Fae deserves a medal.

Altered the Sidhe's defense bonuses. Yes, mundane mooks can kill them, just takes ALOT of mundane mooks.

Balls and a nutsack, it seems the universe is conspiring against my having any fun at all this summer.

I probably won't be available at all for the next two weeks, guys. Even after that, chances of simultaneously getting a decent amount of free time and computer access are slim.

Feel free to move ahead anyways, if it's needed to keep the RP rolling.

I see no things that would be entirely impermissible.

Before we continue, however, what constitutes a "mundane" attack? If, for example, a blow up a fae "corpse" with a bomb, would that count as mundane? Would the corpse knit itself back together and return to service?

Well . . . Fae don't really leave a corpse. They're little more than ideas. When you kill an idea, it just fades away.

So I'll just have to kill them like a college student kills ideas: a bag of weed and a keg. 8P

I always thought people used weed to make more ideas.

Yur mistaking weed for acid. That being said, does acid increase the damage of any fae by 200%?
