Zohraisha grinned mischievously at Olkethet. "Yah, but we'll have something to eat first, I'm starving. Besides, I oughta ask you some stuff."

She preemted any protests with a wave, continuing in the same easygoing tone. "It shouldn't take long, and then we'll get back to our scheduled dragon-slaying."

She was somewhat irritated at having to wait to see her fighter, but the irritation was only for the guard. As soon as she entered the cell, Jhael'na looked down to Mei'la, indicating she did not want any sound from her servant. Her drowussu nodded her head, watching with curious eyes what her Mistress was going to do or say to the healing fighter.

The drow knelt to one knee near Kythera, using her fingers to move some of the black hair from the light skinned face. Clearly her elf was out of it by the look of her dazed eyes. For a quiet moment, Jhael'na thought to herself while she looked over her fighters body. Standing back up on her two feet afterwards, she took out the journal she bought earlier, opening the first page. There she wrote a note.

Kythera,

You fought with great courage in your second bout, and as your owner, I am pleased and relieved, that you withstood the punishment your opponent gave you. That courage will be rewarded greatly this time: you will receive a sturdier weapon and your armor will be replaced. This journal is also a part of these rewards. I will come back to see you in a couple of days.

Your Mistress, Jhael'na.

Her note complete, she placed the pen inside the covers of the journal, placing the book besides Kythera's head on the bed. Before leaving, Jhael'na leaned in close to Kythera's ear, speaking in a whisper to her.

"I don't know if you can understand me Kythera, but you can rest easy knowing that your last reward is that you will not be entered into the next fight night." Slowly leaning away from the ear, Jhael'na placed her hand on the cheek of her fighter and caressed it; lovingly almost. She stopped before she went any further. Standing again, she finally ordered Mei'la to call for the guard, and prepared to go back up to the attendant booth before leaving the arena.

MECKRUCO
Naala looks concerned at the groan. "Oh, don't worry, seran... they won't look for ya. They'll come t'us... only now we's gots some moneys to gettem off our back." She promised, and agreed to keep staying on course.

When they got to the cell, before the escort could open it, Naala rushed ahead. "Isha!" She cried and ran to the bars, extending her arms through. "Naala!" The gladiator hissed in surprised and got up from her bunk, moving in. The two women embraced each other with the cage between them, kissing and laughing with relief.

"Queen-damned girl!" Isha growled fondly. "You shouldn'a come here, gonna getcha in trouble." She paused then. "But I'm glad to see you." She added finally.

Isha looks up and sees Meck nearby and pulls back from Naala and the bars, casting her eyes downward with a blush. "Beggin' y'pardon, master." She mumbles. Naala steps back as well, looking between Isha and Meck for a long moment before dawning crosses her features.

"I'll be damned, you like him!" She giggled, covering her mouth with a hand.

Isha's head snapped up and her eyes blazed. "Shut UP you brainless whore!" She snarled, taking a step towards the bars to her cell.

The escort looks to Meck with a raised brow. "So... do you want me to open the cell?" He asks, clearly not interested in putting those two within reach of each other. But, hey, it was the customer's call.

TELANNA'SANA
Telanna is greeted by a healer when she gets to the checkpoint, who briefs her on the situation. "We still have Ki'ciel in the infirmary... she struggled a great deal when we tried to cut the wound cleanly, lost all composure. When we finally started she went catatonic; hasn't said anything since. I don't know what you'll find, but we just want you to be prepared."

The escort takes her and the healer to the infirmary, which smells of antiseptic and slaughter. There isn't much noise, currently, most of the healing done so no cries of pain like right after a match. A secluded, curtained off area is led to, and Telanna is allowed in.

Ki'ciel lies on a sheet, pale, her arm bandaged, the limb ending in a mass of bandaging below the elbow. the arm itself is looks to be immobilized to a metal bar, keeping everything in place. Ki'ciel stares straight ahead, quietly, barely breathing.

When Telanna enteres, Ki'ciel looks up, eyes widening and filling with tears before she turns her head away, clenching her teeth. A suppressed sob wracks her frame. "Wh-... what... what will buh-... become of me... mhh-... mistress." She manages to choke out, her despair at her injury plain.

ZOHRAISHA
He grinned back, no doubt recalling the hazy memories of their last dragon-slaying encounter. He did begin to protest although stopped short at the wave of her hand.

Obediently, Olkethet cants his head. "As the boss c'mands." He accepts with a nod. "I could use a good meal... so... lead the way."

JHAEL'NA
Kythera does not respond, not even with the batting of an eye, although gooseflesh does break out at her touch. The escort locks the door after Jhael'na and her slave leave and takes a look back at the cell.

"That was a killer match," he dared venture to say to the slavemaster, "swear I was on th'edge of m'seat. Lucky she pulled through... won me a goodly bit of long. Don't worry, djema, I'll keep an eye on her, make sure she eats and doesn't hurt herself worse." He promises.

Meckruco found his worries had no foundation. this was releif, but he would push the training a little harder now. Meck couldnt help but chuckle to himself as Naala and Isha had their small exchange. it did confirm they were family. He was smileing as he motioned for the guard to open the cell. "she wanted to see her sister, why not let em. besides," meck taped his sword hilt "I can handle anything that could go wrong."

Meck was not surprized when Naala said that Isha liked him. he already suspected it from previous chats with her. with this, an odd thought enetered his head. Maybe he would get something more rewarding than a big fat purse full of longs for a reward... it was posable.. but Meck stayed to the side to allow Naala and Isha to have their time.

Family or not, he would still protect his investment... no, he would protect his student.

Telanna'sana walked around the infirmary bed so that she could look at Ki'ciel,
"Well the first thing thats going to happen is that i suggest that you rest, After all fitting a golem arm would be rather hard if you don't let it heal." After a slight pause to let it sink in Telanna continues.
"In the morning, if your fit enough, you shall be heading home with me, from there we shall discuss the options."

Kwan titled his head a bit, his expression one of polite interest by habit, while trying to catch everything the human said.
He shrugged a little as he replied.
"<Real fight never clean, even in,> hmm, arena... <this place.>"

The the merchant straightened and smiled.
"<But, you win. Get gift! You wish a woman, a man? For bed?>" Kwan said gesturing at the little bed in the room.
"<Something other?>" he added in case the human preferred food or something else instead of a bed partner.

She moved to face the escort, only offering a neutral look towards him after his comments. After he finished with the promise, she offered the faintest of smiles leaning in close once the group reached the top of the stairs. "If you keep your promise, you may get a tip later. And I emphasize may depending on my fighter. Yet" she said after a moment, "thank you as well."

After she left the guard, Jhael'na went to the booth again, requesting for the spear haft after showing her owner's card. If the staff threw it out then so be it. She would buy a completey new spear if she couldn't get the part repaired on Red Street.
