Ask any questions about the new adventure in this thread!

Here is the complete list of all items you may buy for this adventure.

Items for this adventure only:
Diving equipment - 25 ada per person to lease - Consists of special diving mask based on a similar principle to the golem gas masks, using air foci to lengthen the amount of time one can breathe underwater, with seals to keep water out. It allows the user to stay underwater, though uses their own mana as an emergency reserve to keep the foci working. Additionally, there are hand and foot fins to ease movement. Also includes a safety tether to be attached to the diver to anchor them to the surface, so strong currents do not pull them into the open ocean.

Harpoon - 5 ada - To ward of the nightmarish creatures that surely live in the ocean *heehee* Any squad member using a ranged weapon can temporarily trade in their ranged weapon for a crossbow specially designed to shoot mini harpoons. The trade-in is free.

Mini Harpoons - Pack of 10 for 5 ada.

Storm proof tent - 40 ada - A specially treated tent, designed to be water proof and more resilient anchoring materials to ensure a safe night of sleep even during a minor tropical storm.

Regular Items:
Climbing Safety Harness - 30 ada - A rope waist harness and pitons. Prevents fatal fall during climbing.

Flintstone - 1 ada - A small spark-generating stone. Starts fires, not very efficient.

Golem Firestarter - 42 ada - A small box that casts sparks to start fires. Starts fires.

Grappling Hook - 5 ada - A simple steel grappling hook. Makes climbing more effective.

Heatstone - 15 ada - A small mana gem that slowly gives off warmth when charged.

Mana Focus (Basic) - 15 ada - A non-gem focus of (affinity). Bonus to sorcerers, does not grant sorcery. (Destroyed after one use)

Mana Focus (Standard) - 60 ada - A basic elemental focus of (affinity). Bonus to sorcerers, does not grant sorcery.

Medicine, Epic Painkiller - 10 ada - A small vial of clear liquid. Pain and senses are dulled. Prevents shock/bonus to casualty stabilization. (One use only)

Medicine, Soothing Ointment - 6 ada - A small vial of ointment used to treat wounds and burns (including sunburns!). Bonus to first aid. (One use only)

Oil (Bottle) - 5 ada - A bottle of flammable oil. For use by fire sorcerers, etc. (One use only)

Tent (5-man) - 20 ada - A five-man tent. Shelter from the elements. Camping is more restful.

Inquiry on the new PvP element:

Will we be killing each other, or just incapacitating each other?

While disabling is preferable, you are not really enemy clans after all, there will be no punishment from your clans for killing members of the opposing clan.

With respect to the slave the Fen Wolves picked up is there any utility to him or is he purely for caring for the squad in-between missions?

Will we get to keep the storm proof tent after this adventure?

The slave is like a silent companion, carrying what you want them to (within reason), setting up tents, cooking etc. Small things that save the squad some time. Once during a mission you may use the slave for fighting. They can use their previous experience for this. So you have a one-time use fire sorceress every mission.

Are mini harpoons just for ranged weapon users? This seems to be implied.

The harpoons we're getting are like this right?

Image

The underwater crossbow the ranged specialists can get would essentially be a harpoon gun that shot smaller versions of the harpoon?

Are the harpoons alternate weapons that we'll use when underwater, or are they additional specialized ranged weapons that we can use anytime? If the first, they seem rather pointless to those of us who have weapons/sorcery that can be used underwater. XD

Yes, mini harpoons are just for ranged users.

Yes, Tsuris, it is like a harpoon gun ^^

Alric: Harpoons and the harpoon crossbows are the only weapons that are allowed for underwater use. And there is only one person with water sorcery and a few with ice and air :3 I guess wood and plant sorcery can also be used if underwater plants are around, but there is no offensive possibility there.
