Sorry to bother you. I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this, but I couldn’t find this information in here. With the nanites for the blood technician can they only be uses to heal the wounded or can they be used for more aggressive applications? For example could you use them to augment a characters abilities (say give them increased strength for a short time) or used to damage a biological enemy (temporally paralyse them or make them explode). To be honest I’m just hoping you can use them to let you cheat at a drinking contest, by stopping your systems from absorbing the alcohol, but thought I should inquire about its’ limits at the same time. Thanks for your time and sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, or if it has been asked already.

This is exactly the right place to ask any SA related questions. The nanites given to field medics can only be used for healing purposes.

In the future (meaning if there is to be a second SA RH adventure), different kinds of nanite varieties might be provided though ^^

BACKGROUND: His first memory is waking up in a trauma ward, covered from head to toe with burns. With no memory of who he is and no form of identification, as everything he had on him was damaged beyond use save for a pair of specs. The staff started calling him Specs as he always had them with him. He showed an impressive ability to manipulate nanite, atleast after he figure out what he was doing wrong that caused the nanites to set his arm on fire.When he was discharged (more like kicked out) one of the doctors recommended that he try to find work with the relic hunters.
PERSONALITY: He is one of those people that are always in a good mood, to the point that you want to hurt them. Despite his upbeat outlook he has little to no morals in the normal sense, just a set of rules and duties that he lives by. This make him a bit uptight when it comes to rules, but also makes him steadfast loyal.

On another note, not that I'm complaining(cause it is suprisingly fun) but I seem to be in a new squad each time I've log on. I don't mind to much as I'm happy to fit where needed, but so far to night I've gone from a Field Surgeon to a Demo(as the squad I was put in had a Field Surgeon already.) back to a Field Surgeon. Its just that if/when you ok my character, I don't want to have to ask to change class because the squads already got one of that class. Sorry for the bother and thanks for the help.

This may have been addressed somewhere, but are the Space Age equivalent of Mana Specialist Tools swappable/buyable, or are they an inherent part of the Mana Specialist's training?

Tools are usable only by their trained tech user. They are simply the interface for the training, giving data that the specialist is then prepared to interpret into useful information for the squads.

Other modules can become available as upgrades, either generally (improved range, speed of analysis, etc) or specifically (tuned to located one substance, or - say - giving up the ability to analyze fluids but gaining the ability to synthesize antagonists to toxic substances), but require the appropriate tech "class" to utilize.

Generalized tools that allow locations with no further data may become available for weapon specialists if this experiment proves popular/successful.

Taldrin was born to a middle-class woman.

Since no other relatives were known, the child was placed in military school.
Taldrin done his best there to be as invisible as possible, so not to attract attention from bullies.

PERSONALITY NOTES: he is basically very wary of people, especially females, and doesn't give his trust easily.

Has a quirk of replacing his glasses when perturbed (angered, surprised...), so he can recompose his “public face”.
