Chel'el'sussoloth: Val' Beldrobbaen Fortress [Public]

Postby Kalandrin » Sat Feb 03, 2007 1:25 pm

The name of the First Clan made Kalandrin's pupils grow smaller for a few moments, before her immediate emotions prevailed again. The Sharen clan had caused her a lot of physical and emotional distress and pain back in the 'age of chains,' though as the years were going by, these feelings were slowly softened. Possibly, someday - a few centuries later, at best - she could perhaps overcome that hatred, assuming the current circumstances continued unopposed. If anything, however, she could not predict the future, and thus she could not tell what would come in the days ahead. After all, two days ago, she never expected that yesterday things would take such an unexpected turn.

"It does sound like boring duties to me" Kalandrin said honestly, reflecting her personality in a clear manner; she had never been patient enough to sit and enjoy politics, although she knew their values full and well. It was just the fact that she had been raised into a killing machine, and fighting was what she could do better than almost anything. "I do not think I have anything to do myself... I guess I'll just go back downstairs and weave something to sell and earn today's living... Or something..." she added in an almost melancholic manner seconds later.

As she rested her head on Dee's chest, Kalandrin dedicated a few more seconds to listen to their heartbeats. She liked this combined use of almost all her senses, and the emotions this inspired. Only upon considering these did she move to look at Dee'nias and return the gentle kiss she was given, smiling in a gentle, shy manner afterwards, as her four pairs of eyes looked into the ver'drowendar summoner's with admire. "Say, Lord Dee'nias, would you accept my humble services?" she asked faintly, her voice hardly penetrating the silence of the room.

The reply came back as a snap, no matter how old and mature you were some things were just so... easy. A single rasping laugh and the silence in the room was split asunder, "You can service me as much as you like..." levering himself to an upright position with one arm, Dee slid his free hand up Kalandrin's scarred stomach, over her breast to her cheek, pulling her in close once more for another kiss, deep and passionate.

And then a sigh as you calm down and realise how silly you really are, after a long moment Dee lay back once more, "But... We'll have fair warning. All the time in the world is ours, but if you want to go I'll understand..."

Kalandrin blinked in response to Dee's reply, subconsciously leading herself to bite her lower lip out of embarassment. That was a good one - she had been caught off-guard in an amazingly easy manner, and could not resist leaving a giggle only a second later. The fact that she was being touched by somebody else, and in portions of the body she had scarcely shown to the outside world up to now - with more or less more sensitive skin than usual - no less, aroused her senses in a unique manner she had, perhaps, never felt before. Or something like that - she did not want to spoil the mood for technicalities.

Another kiss followed shortly, with Kalandrin utilising both her arms and her front most pair of legs to hug Dee'nias and return the motion with equal feeling and effort put into it. She did not let Dee go for a few seconds, but even after that, she remained in the upright position he had put her with his move. The drider put her hands on the summoner's chest, looking down at his face with an obvious mix of happiness and adoration drawn on her face. She liked this biped - he had, among others, brought back her self-esteem. She had been shown that she was not an aberration - she was simply somebody different, just like she believed for all these years.

"I want this moment to last forever" the Ne'kalsaider wished out loud, repeating a thought she had made earlier, only this time outside the boundaries of the mental plane, straight into the physical one. She tilted her head to the right with a smile on her face - always reflecting a subtle fear of showing her fangs - before she bowed down and planted one more gentle kiss on his lips. For a second, she was certain she could see the adamantine shell she was hiding behind receiving one more major crack, and for the first time, light pouring in from the gap, rendering the interior visible.

While Kalandrin may have bitten her lip and become embarassed, Dee on the other hand seemed to be a far different person. Adamantine shells being for others, at heart Dee was a demon no barrier would stop him if he was determined anough, the world before him ready to devour and take what he wanted, and here he took what he wanted, even as simple a moment as this was all...

The kiss was returned in kind, he held her only gently as if she were something fragile that would break, another kiss and a whisper in the dark. Even if this moment couldn't last forever it would be memorable.

    Later...
The forty-five year old drider opened her eyes as her mind was still overcome by near-ecstatic sensations from the second round of pleasing she and the summoner under her had just undergone. This time she had not slept, but rather, only shut her four pairs of purple eyes in order to enhance her other four senses. It had truly worked - her body had been previously shivering from the pleasing sensations, making her feel in a manner she had never before imagined.

The combined scent of lust and sweat reached Kalandrin's delicate nostrils, reminding her a lot of things. She and Dee'nias had been in that place, as well as position more or less, for many hours, and although she felt this moments' wonderfulness, her body was slowly and silently complaining. The cunning eight-legged female did her best to think of solutions and solutions, and did not take too long to achieve her goal.

"I think we should get moving" the drider whispered with a gentle smile, addressing her biped lover as she rested her head on his chest. She did not even know whether he was awake or not, though the answer could be easily guessed, depending on what she had gathered. "Mmm... Maybe go and have a bath, then eat our breakfast or something..." she added a second later as she voiced her suggestion out loud.

Dee stared rather dead-eyed at the cieling of his rooms, dead eyed and breathing very slowly. He wiped his mouth experimentally before staring at his palm, clenching and unclenching his hand a few times as if experimenting that it was truly his body to command. Of course it was a success, this was him, under his command and none other. It made him smile, giving a low moan in an answer to the drider he'd spent these last hours with, gently sliding himself out from beneath her.

It felt good to do something for someone else once in a while.

"I can have the slaves run a bath..." He said, gently opening a dusty cabinet and pressing a finger to a crystal within. Mana light and a mirror, he pulled a silk robe around his narrow shoulders and twisted his hair in such a way as to impale it in place with a few short lengths of black adamantium so it didn't trail down his back. Even after one night, silvery roots showed where his hair had grown out.

"Or we can go to one of the open baths, they're usually deserted and always warm..."

As Dee'nias slid beneath Kalandrin, she did not move the slightest bit, enjoying the sensation to the fullest. Could it be true, was it truly that? She never expected to actually resort to such thoughts, but it was now official; she really liked that summoner, and did care for him. A bizzare thought for anybody that has grown in a culture of rabid sexuality, but to some degree, the Ne'kalsaider was closer to the greyskins rather than their black-skinned cousins. Besides, it felt nice to put her ego aside and care for someone else as well, that 'someone' not being G'eld.

As the ver'drowendar disappeared from beneath her, the ne'kalsaider as well shifted her position and moved to put on the most basic of her underclothing to conceal had naked nature, and whatever else accompanied it; her scars, her body hair, things most other pointed-ear denizens of the Underworld lacked. Quickly, she moved to catch her naturally black hair into a ponytail, always hating the fact they disturbed the sight of any of her eight purple sapphire eyes, and unwilling to make a braid at the moment.

"Hmm... I guess privacy would be good, albeit time-consuming... Then again, I also have my armour, and I cannot carry that around, can I?" Kalandrin wondered out loud as she tried to reach a conclusion. "I'd say we have one here" she finally said a few seconds, later, albeit sounding a little-bit worried, probably due to the mention of the word 'slaves.' "Besides, there is no need for everyone to stare at us or anything."

The dark halls with their majestic silence were soon broken by the soft sweep on a lone figure tracing a silent path down the hallways. Slowly the figure of Nirael cold be seen walking up to a lone door. It's dark metal marking betraying the owner's style.

Entering her dark room Nirael began the process of packing many of her belongings for travel. Her first choice was a large travel pack with its dark cover and violet spider embroidered on it. Into it went several travel outfits and some of her unfinished works, plus a pair of small steel bars to keep her busy on the road, or for bartering should she need a few extra ada. Then to the sides her weapons were tightly strapped on, her folding glaive and the bow with it's quiver easily attached.

After several tests to make sure that the weight was well balanced, Nirael quietly finished readying the pack and withdrew to sleep awaiting her travels for the next day.

Dristin tried to calmly look ahead of her, "tried" being the keyword. Every few moments she saw movement from the corner of her eye, which later turned out to be nothing more than a flickering shadow or a statue. She could see how it intimidated unwelcome guests, but what about the welcome ones like her and her new... "sisters"? At least, she thought she was welcome, that's what Kalandrin made it sound like. Maybe a joke would lighten her mood?

"W-well, at least... black goes with everything."

The young Waelinider's voice reverberated around the hallway, emphasizing how big and empty it was. She felt shivers going down her spine, and decided to stay as close to Kalandrin as she could. The adult Ne'kalsaider was still carrying the unconscious Ziffy on her back. Will that girl ever wake up?

This was a big and well-defended, if only half-full fortress; the land of pitch black and realm of the Beldrobbaen clan, the spiders of Chel'el'sussoloth. This fortress was one of the last free havens for driders across the collection of small city-states that formed the metropolitan area of the City of Light; it also was Kalandrin's home for well over a century and a half, in fact approaching two full ones as the decades were passing by.

Kalandrin smiled at Dristin's words. "The fortress was more lively until a short while ago" she admitted with a low voice, leading her and the carried Ziffy to her nest, a small artificial cavern (or burrow) that was an extension of the fortress. "Now it is but a shadow of its former self; however the Val'Beldrobbaen have always been mistresses of shadow, so this should be little trouble on the long term" she added proudly.

Ziphaenarla shifted groggily, her body refusing to respond any command. She did not know in which position was she exactly, but she could feel the warmth and the fuzz of another body. What had really happened? Was she at the hive? Had she overslept? She didn't want to be overslept, yet sleeping was so pleasurable, and the body warmth was so delightful... Finally lazily moving her body, she gently rubbed herself against the warmth, unable to think another thing, groggily, her lips opened, and a choked sentence escaped from her throat.

"..wanna sleep more, mommy..." And, afterwards, she lost herself in the warmth, falling out of the realm of consciusness again.

To Dristin it seemed that no matter how many times more lively the fortress was it would still be an eerie place. How could anyone live here for any period of time and not yearn for a little colour? She straightened her back and took a deep breath, as if to give the defiant red of her dress a more prominent place amongst the black and sporadic white. Not that it made a difference. Maybe she should just paint the place? Azure, carmine, magenta, saffron, even orange would be an improvement. Well... burnt orange at least.

After a while Dristin's mind wondered back to Kalandrin's comment, it had made her curious, the Ne'kalsaider made it sound like a great loss. What had happened? Afraid that it would be an inappropriate question, she kept her mouth shut, but her curiousity kept nagging at the back of her mind. "What happened?" she blurted out. Realizing some time had passed she added: "You know... About the liveliness and such." Ziffy interrupted Dristin with some half conscious mumbling, making her unsure whether Kalandrin had heard her question.

Kalandrin lowered her voice and adopted a much more serious demeanour after Dristin asked her question. "There was an... accident at Othorbbae..." she said grudgingly. "Basically, sabotage from rival clans, most probably the Vloz'ress. A teacher lost control of her seed and a whole generation of Beldrobbaen noble girls was lost that day. The only exception was the heiress... and Sharess forbid Ziffy from ever getting within a floor from her. The poor girl is more tainted than a Vel'nari..." she muttered, annoyed.

She had never seen that daughter of the Ilharess, but she had received word of her being deeply tainted. And if empaths were as powerful as she thought, then Ziffy was in for a very, very unpleasant surprise should the two meet... Kalandrin prayed that they never would, for the poor driderling's sake.

It was then when Ziffy's voice caught her attention, allowing her to smile once again. "Do not worry Ziffy, you can sleep for as long as you want" she whispered warmly, and continued leading her way through the corridors of the fort, closer to her nest.

The answer was delivered in a serious tone, the "accident" had obviously bothered Kalandrin. Dristin almost wanted remark that it was a clever way to undermine a clan's power, it was better to not say such a thing in front of someone so fond of the Beldrobbaen. But the victims were just children? "Does this mean there are no girls my age?" she thought out loud. A chilling realization. To her it was obvious that a noble's life could be more dangerous than a commoner's, but this was certainly very devious and cunning, what with no direct evidence left behind.

((Couldn't think of anything better...))

Kalandrin initially refrained from replying to the driderling, finding the subject politically unacceptable and unwanted; in the end, she restricted herself to uttering just a few words of indirect admittance. "You could say so" she hissed, not really wanting to recollect the details of the accident or the Nidraa'chal war, another event of similar nature that she always recalled when the other unfortunate event came to her mind.

They were slowly approaching her nest, at one of the most silent edges of the fortress. Truth be told, she had picked a spot suitable of a spider... dark, quiet, as well as warm and nice, almost uncomfortably so for normal drow.
