The elemental chart for the fantasy idea I've got brewing in my head. The ten elements it uses are (as seen clockwise from the top): Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Wood, Metal, Sulfur, Spirit, Aether, and Void. If you're wondering "where the hell did he get Sulfur from?", the answer is Medieval Alchemy. Yep, medieval alchemists considered sulfur an element (along with mercury and salt, but mercury was already part of metal, and salt just didn't feel right). And the difference between Spirit and Aether is that spirit refers to, well, the souls of beings, while aether is the material stars are made out of (in-series, ala Greek elemental tradition - yes, I know IRL that stars are huge balls of plasma instead of light given substance). Void refers to space-time, as well as nothingness. So yeah, I just combined the Greek, Medieval, Chinese, and Japanese classical elements.
