My cute lil Dragoon

My cute lil Dragoon

...Yinxirziji Iejir. She's one of those RP characters I can't control much because she does pretty much whatever she wants. The best kind of char. *wee*

Image

I'm uncomfortable with this pic in a lot of ways. I like the ideas behind the color scheme, but unfortunately, I'm still much better at thinking of stuff than pulling it off well. Sooomewhat quick picture, lazy in a lot of ways, uncomfy with the composition and her eye sockets. But I like how well it captures aspects of the character's personality: sensual, a little predatory, and pretty much any word more than "ascetic."

A good character capture, and my lazy amateur arse is at least reasonably happy. ^^;

Because there are very talented people everywhere, Starlitdragon being one of them in this forum, who constantly remind me with their own pieces that I still have a long long way to go. *blush*

But that's very sweet, hon, thankye! I'm glad you like it. Yin is one of my dearest (though most Mary-Sueish :p) characters, and it's been awhile since I've been able to draw something just for me. :w

I'm showing girlie skin this time, but I swear I'll switch back to pretty drow bishounen soon. <3

P.S., sorry I'm being a little slow on RP post, I'm really really tired and fighting a creative block. It doesn't help that Ihm's feeling quiet.

EDIT: ...I think I just realized one of the biggest problems with this picture, and it's in the far background. After I've slept, I'll see if I can make a small hue adjustment and perspective transform, it made help it loads. o_O

Ah that's okay, no rush. Our chars'll get to Orthorbbae one way or another. If you can' think of anything to say, too, hell, just throw in some creative wackiness to screw with people *nods* Always works.

And hey...let's just stick with the girly skin for a bit, no? :P And I've got to agree with Gan here--stop being so rough on your art. It's quite the awesome. :)

Dude, you totally kick my ass at realism/anatomy/everythingelse. Plus you have that awesome lineless CG style at your command. I love the lighting on her hair, the warm and cool tones are working really well together. I also really like that little candle you inserted there. Her hands are just amazing too.

She definitely has a predatory look about her. I'd rather not leave my muffins or my head within arm's reach. D:

I like it... reminds me of draenei a bit even though I know it's a dragon.

as for your art... don't worry about it, it's fantastic... every body has their own style, and who's is best is all dependent on your perspective. You're certainly looks the realest of any I've seen so far, Starlit uses colors more flamboyantly, etc.etc. It's all in the eye. Me? I just draw pictures to convey stories :P it's all in what you want to do and what YOU feel comfortable with, just by drawing constantly your work gets cleaner, and closer to how YOU want it to look.

I don't see any flaws. I surely couldn't do anything like this. Well, not now anyway.
I like the shine on her skin, it almost looks life-like. ^^
