Interesting begining.

But here you make the drow seem more emotional then the norm and the elf seems to be some kinda savage, and are looked down on in basic sociaty.  It's rather odd with thie reversed situation.
Stories never end, the just begin anew. Still hurts when you die though.

Correct Scilence. As the story progresses and my world will fleshen out more, the reasons of this all will become clearer.

Also, I believe that all Drow are very emotional beings, however they hide behind a mask to safeguard themselves. you will find that there are still many Drow that fit the more common stereotype, there just more accepted in this world by the surface races.

And frankly, I felt the need to put the Elf's backs in place.  *smirk* This too will be explained in the future.

I really like the idea of most--but perhaps not all--elves in the world being savages. Very orrigional. I'm looking forward to more.
