Wait, isn't that the Fallen Legion? What are -they- doing here? Who are they -with-?

Nah. Those are just Belds. Similiar colour scheme for both, is all.

Is it too much to hope for kyrol cameos getting to fight?

as someone with almost no depth perception (two eyes but only one of them really does anything)... I don't think it's nearly as big a deal as all you magic-eye-seers seem to assume.

Some do, but as my vision was spectacularly awful while growing up, I had learned that perfect visual clarity is not so terribly important in hand-to-hand combat, which these guys are getting into. Sparring with glasses was worse than half-blind.

Stereovision is particularly useful for any action involving range, like hunting a prey or throwing a spear. It's definitely less mandatory at hand reach.

But I'd guess it is probably harder to bioengineer a cyclop creature instead of the standard 2-eyes configuration*, which confirms the Jaal have a strong sense of humour.
A creepy one.

*Note that I am not an expert there. But I would genuinely believe that following a time-tested design is easier that starting a new one.
