Not just language, knowing how to speak black sun AND speak it convincingly is likely not something you could do at the drop of a hat, but still somewhat plausible.

The main thing at the moment is that Ariel never heard K'sava speak, so how could she know how she talks like enough to fool another black sun?

What type of materiel are the bars made out of? If its just crystel then why didn't they just smash through? You see crystal, while very hard, is also very brittle and can break easily if hit hard enough and in just the right place. (Or so I gather from the majority of informed opinions on the internets)
