Chapter 54 : page 124

Now, kudos to the team: this is a great way to get to the nodal point of the Tragedy (in the proper, theatrical sense) that Drowtales was.
Great that a drama that started with the betrayal of the dokkalfar Empress Diva would be decided about the sort of another dokkalfar queen.
Great that is the Humble One and until now considered meek and weak to put it squared: when the cycle of self detruction would end?
We have seen in the few last page (I made a post about its height being in the panel showing the underwater duel) the point of no return where the whole of drow society is heading itself, now its the time to get the Tragedy to its Unraveling , being it by loosing or cutting the moral knot that lie underneath it.
P.s.
Probably Bae and her sisters were not just left unattended but bailed out (and mutilated of their own ears...just look at her compared to the way younger Faen, please) of their clan, hence the hatred.

Setting aside that we know Ariel will come to the rescue, any more stabbing here just reduces Faen's chance of survival. Ash is pretty beat up, and if Bae is killed or injured, that leaves Faen as the only empath on her feet. Faen should have thrown the knife across the room or something.

Why does everyone blame everything on ASH. She was just a royal baby factory while she had her daughters do the "running" of the clan. Yes she did manipulate people into supporting revenge vs the Sharen but honestly she had every right to because the clan was stuck in a bad position of power. The blame for the fall of the clan is not hers alone. As for being a bad mother...well she had so many kids and lived so long that emotional detachment is quite normal under those circimstances.

The machinations of her revenge via Quain'tana probably caused her clan to suffer. Though loss of fortune and personnel supporting the war effort. Bae as a Nid, sees a different path to power. If the Suls had kept their heads down under Sharen rule. They could secretly amass power and fortune. Using their empathy and money to manipulate everyone against each other.

Problem here is that we don't know too many thing: why exactly banana sister left clans and joined the Nids?
Bae is accusing her to be weak and incompetent but she said nothing about any episode in which Ash'waren showed such defects...
We know Chel is a mess still we didn't know anything about reasons why is such, who is responsable (we collectively put blame on Snad but what about the Sarghress strife?).
What are the sort of individuals, IS CHRYS ALIVE, for Goodness sake? They asked about her to a Sharen, no response. IS KOIL DEAD like Sang said? She also implied that her troops were the Sargrhess of they should have been, meaning they are not a Val' clan but just an army?
Too many speculation at the time.
Maintaining a veil of secrecy is good for plot but now is really too much.
